Don't worry!

I need all countries in Asia, Africa and Europe from 330 AD to X century AD, so you can continue!

Preview of silk road it's the follow one:

So from the 7th to the 3rd century BC a few powerful tribal unions have arisen in Inner Asia. The Hsiung-nu (there are several writings of this name) in Ordos and Central-Mongolia, the Tung-Hu in eastern Mongolia and western Manchuria and the Yüeh-chih in Gansu and the lands between Dzungaria and Ordos.
To the south Tangu-Tibetan tribes were nomadic in the vicinity of Koko Nor (Qinghai).
Apparently the Hsiung-nu capital was Lung-cheng (Dragon Site) a tribal encampment. It was in the south-east spurs of Khangay mountain.

(Karakorum and others have been raised for that reason precisely there.)

There was some kind of Wu-sun tribe in Semirechye in the 3rd century bc.
A tribe by the name Wu-huan is also mentioned.
Hu-yuen is apperantly also an ancient Hsiung-nu tribe. (Which was in the union.)

Moving on to another source is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiongnu
In this there are these tribes: (but they are apparently also kind of noble houses)
Chubei
Huyan
Lan
Luandi
Qiulin
Xubu

I'll continue tomorrow.

What role would islands have in the game like the Salomons where nothing noteworthy is known to have happened before the 18th century?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salomon_Islands#History
or perhaps
https://www.forgottenbooks.com/en/readbook/TheDiscoveryoftheSolomonIslands_10267900#3

Phillipines perhaps Chryse
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prehistory_of_the_Philippines#Proto-historic_era

Timor would simply be Timor because every island east of the Majapahit Empire was called that as the meaning is east
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-colonial_Timor#The_Timorese_in_their_region

Do you mean the Mataram Kingdom on the island of Java?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medang_Kingdom

Thank you!

1) I drawn Salomones some years ago and I can put them in the map - because they are to the east of Papua New Guinea) so I latinize this name and I call them Salomones.
2) I call Philippines Chryse, as you suggest.
3) Timor, ok
4) No, Mataram island

Hi to everyone!

Now I'm setting in the map icons positions of the soldiers and manufactories. I've already done ports and cities.

However I have some doubts regarding 42 name of people which couldn't be name of people but other things. If they are other things I don't put them in the map because I positioned them in a random way thinking they are people names. Only cities are in the exact positions; people and kingdoms which are set as provinces are approximately which were in a random way.

So I've done a list of these 42 provinces in the actual country where they were approximately:

- Algeria
Artennites
Macurebi
Musones
Nababes
Tepidae
- Afghanistan
Masianoi
Praesti
Sakai

- Egypt
Ampalaontes
Bassachitai
Monkanei
Psoubai

- India
Butae
Charmae
Kekeoi
Kammoni
Mandaei
Mesae
Nitriae
Poulindai
Sarabastrae
Tamalites
Tarachoi

- Libya
Astiagi
Austuriani
Banadedari
Maketai
Seli
Zamucii

- Pakistan
Agensonae
Astrybai
Suarae

- Arabian peninsula
Apataioi
Arreni
Arsai
Athritai
Cariati
Darae
Karbai
Oudenoi
Thaditai

- North Sudan
Primii

Could you say to me if they are people or other geographic things?

Courage ! :)

Today I finished to set all about 700 icon positions of Asia. I started to do it 10 months ago. Today I start to set 250 african icon positions of soldiers and manufactories (I've already done cities).

I have a question: in which way do you call Mongolia in the period of time?

I think to set these region names:

  • Sina -> Latin name of China
  • Siberia
  • Tibet
  • Indosina -> Latin name of Indochina
  • Indonesia
  • Chryse -> Latin name of Philipphines
  • Papua
  • India (including actual Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Buthan)
  • Asia Libra -> Central Asia (libra in Latin means "free")

Then https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/it/thumb/c/c4/Map_of_Iran_under_Parthians.gif/310px-Map_of_Iran_under_Parthians.gif

  • Margiana
  • Sogdiana
  • Gedrosia
  • Gordyene
  • Atropatene
  • Carmania
  • Persis
  • Susiana
  • Nabataea
  • Arabia Libra (Oman? Yemen?)
  • Syria
  • Armenia
  • Sinai
Then anatolian regions:
  • Paphlagonia
  • Asia Minor
  • Lycaonia
  • Cappadocia
  • Cilicia
  • Galatia
  • Bithynia
  • Ionia
  • Caria
Please help me to know in which way I can call Mongolia and if you prefer another way to call asian regions!
