If there will be an update, I would really suggest you to give, to those who choose Italy, more freedom of choice. When you start, you are "forced" to leave the alliance Austria-Hungary. I perfectly know that it is the historical synopsis of the events, I'm Italian. And I know that Italy always wanted to gain Trento and Bolzano regions, and the whole "Venezia Giulia".
But there were lands, as you well noticed in the game, like Chambery and expecially Nice, that were part of the Savoian kingdom (just think that Garibaldi was from Nice).
So, more freedom of choice, due also to my little historical explaination, would be great
