Guys,

One thing I find annoying is that there is no announcement when units arrive after redeployment (at least I can't find a heading in the "message options" that will make this pop up). This is particularly tiresome when you're moving garrison units around and forget about them; until you notice them again, they sit there with "no orders" instead of quelling resistance like they should. Am I missing something here? If not, could we PLEASE have the option of having redployment arrivals show up as a pop up in the next patch?

Also, I'd like to mention that Ulithi atoll in the Pacific should probably have a major port instaed of a minor. Ulithi was a primary staging base for US fast carrier striking groups during the latter years of the war in the Pacific. One of the most remarkable picitures I've ever seen was 16 fleet carriers (with escorts) at anchor at inside the atoll. Amazing; such power. Anyway, Ulithi may have been left a minor port because of the proximity of Truk, for game purposes, I don 't know; however, unless there is something that mitigates against it, I would recommend it being upgraded. Or (as a relatively unskilled player in the Pacific) can you upgrade minor ports to major ports by building naval bases? If so, can someone give me the quick three line description of how to do this in an island situation?

Thanks again all,

LR

1. Go to the production screen and click on the tab marked Naval bases.
2. Build Naval bases.
3. When ready, they will be available for deployment and can be placed anywhere that is in supply. If they aren;t in wupply, put an infantry unit there to make them in supply. They take about as long as a factory to build and cost 5 IC each.
