It would be cool if, as a follower of Sithis, you could open Dark Brotherhood chapters in select provinces. Perhaps even if you don't own the province yourself; and then have that chapter provide a small 'holy order' to be hired by you, or anyone of the Sithis religion.

That would be counter to the DB's modus operandi. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I remember reading they're strictly "anti-political" and is the reason the Morag Tong and the DB fell out (the DB was birthed from the Morag Tong, who took a political position, while the DB it's actually more a form of worship*).

* Assassinating, killing and what have you.

Technically it would be possible to happen, but extremely unlikely. For one, you'd need to be both guild master so to speak of your specific cell, and there is usually only one or two in a single "kingdom", or province in Elder Scrolls terms, so 1 or 2 for skyrim, 1 or 2 for high rock and so forth, Morrowind is exempt because they have the Morag Tong and they dont like competition. So you need to be guild master, which means you have to be a expert killer yourself and by that i mean the best of the best, you dont get to climb the ladder unless you knock off everyone else ahead of you, which hurts the guild, or being basicly the best assassin thats ever come through that specific cell.

Now lets assume you achieve this, you are also a noble, a lord, you deal in politics. Before long, you use them as a political tool, kill rivals and opposition. How long do you think would it take until the Brotherhood catches on they are being used by a greedy, self-absorbed noble? How long would it take for them to simply..cut their ties with you, to put it mildly? Not that long, believe you me, your noble life would be a short one indeed. Hence why its not really doable since, going by lore and canon, the DB does not like being used for personal gain, you serve Sithis and the Night Mother, they do not serve you.

Well, yes, but what would stop you from opening Sanctuaries in other regions? I don't mean for them to be friendly to, or accepted by, the actual owner of the province - Quite the opposite.

Maybe you would build a sanctuary (as a barony/temple) in, for example, Cheydinhal, that would be under your control (Like how holy orders build baronies in the main game, only, in this case you wouldn't ask for permission).

I mean, playing as a count/duke etc. with the Sithis religion already throws out the idea that the Dark Brotherhood is not political.

Well, within the realms of lore-friendlyness, you would naver be able to create a 'Dark Brotherhood' empire - Which would just be a shame, no?

Sithis worship =/= Dark Brotherhood.

Hell, some would argue that the Sithis that the Dark Brotherhood is Lorkhan and not Sithis. But that's irrelevant; the 'Sithis religion' is unrelated to the Dark Brotherhood in the same way Christianity is to the Knights Templar.

Sort of. >_>

Pretty much what i was going to say, the DB believes in Sithis, but whether they actually worship Sithis is a matter of debate, they claim their deeds are in honor of Sithis and the Night Mother, but thats hardly the same as actually praying to them. Well there may be some, and in context others do pray to the Night Mother, which is how the DB learns about contracts and all that, but its not the same as worship i think. But at the end of the day, Sithis worship, in what manner ever, is not the same as being a member of the Dark Brotherhood, its like saying just because you are a follower of Mehrunes Dagon you are automatically part of the Order of the Mythic Dawn.

Not sure if it'd even be possible, but; a system where a province can get a '<species> problem' modifier. Falmer in Skyrim, Goblins in Cyrodiil, etc. You could then use the hire-able adventurers to take care of the problem by parking them on the province. If you don't solve it in a timely manner, an army of whatever creature spawns, starting a rebel war, and can eventually take over the province in question.

There should be an event chain for an Altmeri invasion of Valenwood, and potentially Elsweyr. Currently Alinor is a rather dull playthrough, as if you want to invade Valenwood you have to do some pretty gamey things to get enough ships and you have to invade piece by piece since it's so broken up. Maybe an event where the Altmer get a massive surge of troops and ships to move them, but they have to declare war on all the Valenwood nations at once.

I highly recommend looking into getting mercenary fleets.

Besides my early suggestions regarding Colovians using the Vanilla graphic set and the Brethren religion, here are a few more suggestions/questions:

-How about adding in the Kothringi as a new culture? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Kothringi
- Why do we need a separate Akaviri culture when all the 4 races/nations of Akavir are already in game? It seems a bit superfluous.
- Is Roscrea in the game? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Roscrea
- How about dem Sloads? Anyplans for them? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Sload

I'm quite that Roscrea is in the mod, although the island is east of Morrowind.

- No plans on the Kothringi, they were a fringe culture that was eliminated by the Knahaten Flu about 110 years in to our time frame.
- Based on basically every actual in-game depiction of the Akaviri, it seems humans weren't completely eliminated from Akavir. I hope that we'll eventually get beast portraits for the remaining Akavir races (Kamal, Tang Mo and Tsaesci), the "Akaviri" would then appear in roles such as the Eunuchs or Jews in vanilla (courtiers) although with the added danger of an Akaviri uprising.
- Roscrea is in game, but it's placed in a path that actually makes sense for it to be used as a port on the journey to Akavir. The source on UESP doesn't actually state that Roscrea is north of Skyrim, it just states Roscrea was taken by Solitude and Solitude is also exploring the sea of ghosts.
- Sload won't make any appearance outside of potential events; they're simply too alien to work.

I think that the Martial Stat is a bit overpowered at the moment because it increases levy size (as of the 2.0 patch), combat ability of all unit types, morale, organisation and levy reinforcement rate.

I would change it to something like this:

Learning would give mages a combat bonus.

Intrigue (recon, guerrilla tactics) would give archers and light infantry a combat bonus.

Stewardship (logistics) would give morale (from being fed and equipped properly) and levy reinforcement bonus.

Diplomacy (People skills, leadership) would give morale and organisation bonus.

This would also fit in with the race bonuses, Altmer would have better mages, Bosmer better archers, etc.
