I know it's a vanilla matter, but for roleplaying reasons it might be interesting to offer the possibility of being a secret worshipper of a daedric prince (or any other religion, for what matters) even if you are an independent ruler, and not the vassal of someone else. Especially now that daedric worshipping has become much more interesting with the addition of Jade Dragon interface (amazing, by the way). Your vassals would be happy (unless they find out), and it's stands true to a traditional cliche of high fantasy: the duplicitous evil ruler who makes dark pacts in the shadows while still pretending to be a not-that-bad ruler.

We've got that part covered, sort of: if you take Scholarship focus and choose the path to study Oblivion, you can hire a "Daedric scholar" who gives you the option to secretly follow the Daedric religion of your choice. There's also the (rare) event where a Daedric Prince contacts you directly, which also offers you the option to secretly worship them.

A suggestion: move Pyandonea farther to the southwest. What little information we have on this continent suggests it lays far to the southwest and is difficult to reach from Tamriel. At present it sits so close to Summerset and mainland Tamriel that it's almost ridiculous, even with the idea that some kind of magical fog makes it hard to find. So if the map files are worked on in the future I'd very much like to see Pyandonea moved father from Tamriel.

I'm pretty sure that would make Pyandonea even less attractive to play as, since the sea elves would basically be confined to their isles and have little interaction with the rest of Tamriel. That might be lore-accurate, but what's the point of having it in the game in the first place if its inhabitants don't really have an impact on the course of the game. Even now, Pyandonea is pretty much a lame duck, since it can only attack Alinor - which the AI normaly won't because it realises it has no chance against them.

Will the new islands that were added recently around the map (based on Islands in ESO) get characters? I'd like to play on them, but they're currently unplayable from the start menu.

Not a really serious matter, but I would suggest removing the "short_name" tag from the Empire of Tamriel, and also changing its localisation name to just "Tamriel". By default, the game places all empires as "Empire of [Insert Name Here]", so this way, we would not have, for example, an "Emperor Uriel V of the Empire of Tamriel", but a "Emperor Uriel V of Tamriel" instead.

Almost every holding in Ka Po Tun doesn't have localisation, showing us the code name "b_<holding-name>", which is... well.. irritating, cause you need to change them manually in game, when you play in that region.

Just a little thing about the Dragon Cult, do you have plan to add a religious leader to it ? From the lore, it seems pretty much organised.

It'd probably make more sense for it to have autocephalus leadership (and maybe the Patriarchy mechanics), to represent the fact that while they have no 1 overarching leader, they do have loads of high-ranking and semi-independent religious leaders in the form of the Dragon Priests.

Wondering if https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...rmance-tweak-akavir-continent-removed.995233/ is still workable for newer updates and if not suggest an official submod to take out unfinished/too far areas out for performance. I think it would be handy for people with goal oriented games such as found an empire etc rather than having slower speeds for them the submod could be useful. As I learned from the four nations mod you can never get enough speed.

I realise this may be a bit of big change, but I thought it would be worth suggesting. Consider fleshing out High Rock's mapping into several more regions/counties. The bretons are meant to be a deeply fractured people, after all, and especially before the Warp in the West. Ideally, I'd say something as detailed as what we got in Daggerfall (http://images.uesp.net//0/04/DF-map-Iliac_Bay_(labeled).png), and perhaps flesh out the more northern areas in style with something like this (https://orig00.deviantart.net/66b2/f/2013/156/e/2/high_rock_4e_28_by_aubreysapp-d67z26e.png).

I know this would be a map overhaul (like Paradox is doing with the Baltics and Poland atm for retail), and it would give High Rock a lot more countries, but I think a good counter balance to that would perhaps be to give those counties less worth/manpower or something?

Please consider it.

High Rock is currently a fair bit smaller than the other provinces. This both means that it's easier to unify and that a united High Rock is a lot weaker than the other provinces. Since most of the world is already filled with low value provinces containing only a castle, I don't think it would be that much of a balance concern to add in some more provinces to High Rock that are just that. There could even be a bunch of tribal provinces justified as areas that were hit especially hard by the disaster.

Special consideration can be done to Orsimer areas, to give them a little more power and things to do without just attacking the Bretons. Possibly with more mountain passes and supply limit issues so the orcs are less likely to be conquered fairly quickly in each game.
