I have some ideas concerning various Dunmer things:

One, treat the Ashlander tribes as titular duchies, not noble houses (not actual tribal titles, because those get destroyed when a duchy is made). I think the tribes are important enough to the Ashlander identity (especially as they are mentioned in the Nerevarine prophecies) and distinct enough that they shouldn't be so easily destroyed as families are. Furthermore, by the time of TES III, none of the Ashlander Ashkhans actually bear the name of their tribe.

Two, rearrange the holdings of the Ashlanders a bit. I would suggest the counties they hold be divided as such: Urshilaku: Ashlands, Ahemussa: Grazelands, Erabenimsun: Molag Mar, and Zainab: Zafirbel. Given the county positions in EK, I think that's the best that can be done to accurately represent their holdings.

Three, include the Ordinators and Buoyant Armigers as vassal Holy Orders to the Tribunal Temple, or the Kingdom of Morrowind if the Temple is destroyed as a landed title. I'm not sure how feasible it is to make that transition, possibly via events? Could be a reason to hold off on it.

Four: Change the name of the "Velothian Empire" to something more lore-accurate, like simply "Empire of Resdayn" or "Empire of Morrowind". I know those are the kingdom names, but the area including both the mainland and Vvardenfell has usually been know by one of the two, and "Velothian Empire" just seems artificial.

Well, the Ashlander tribes seem to work as a clan, from which the base is a family, so it's not that inaccurate. The "royal house" bearing the name of the tribe is just a matter of convenience, they could have any name, and be any tribe.

Sure, I'll look into rearranging it. Although I warn that it's unlickely that I'll give Zarfibel to the Temple (Also, bear in mind that their 3rd Era holdings may not correspond to their 2nd Era ones)

The Buouyant Armingers are already a vassal Holy Order of the Temple. The Ordinators, for the time being, are the name for the Dunmer retinues. This may change of course.

As for the Velothian Empire, I like the ring on it, if you personally don't like it it's a very easy modding, just look for the Empires file in the localisation folder and change e_dunmer;Velothian Empire... to something else. Of course, you can always change the name in-game trough title editor.

If you could in the decision for making Tamriel could you put copy_title_history = e_cyrodiil you have to put it in the option, the best example of this if not the only is, creating rome in the roman events it is a follow up event for this process for making the empire I could do the coding if you would like.

The other thing with adding even more "races" that are not particularly important is that it adds noticeably to the memory footprint - even with the new compressed textures.

And who knows, one day you may even go back and do a first age bookmark.

Flavour - At the cost of making the mod even less "low end" machine friendly. Just look at how many 32bit users couldn't run ROI, even after the compression fixes.

Not saying it shouldn't be added - But it should have a purpose that warrants the added footprint.

The Monkeymen are still extant (afawk) in the 4E, the Kothringi are killed off within the first century of gameplay.

True, that's an argument I always use, but it's an unlikely addition at the moment.

Well I didn't plan on playing one, but it seems wrong that they were missing when I know they're supposed to be there.
This coming from the person who converted Byzantium to Hellenic, reformed the Roman Empire, and carried it into Eu4 and made a world spanning Hellenic empire by the 19th century.

Maybe leave it sealed (ie surrounded by mountains) and it only be reachable via the sea? Or maybe (don't know if its possible) but have it be a one way kinda thing, like the falmer/snow elves can leave but the Nords can't enter? It could be explained as a blessing of Auri-el or something like that.

Another thing...Could Bloodlines be changed so they're no longer agnatic?
It's very annoying when you're going with mostly female rulers and you lose your bloodline constantly.

Maybe leave it sealed (ie surrounded by mountains) and it only be reachable via the sea? Or maybe (don't know if its possible) but have it be a one way kinda thing, like the falmer/snow elves can leave but the Nords can't enter? It could be explained as a blessing of Auri-el or something like that.

The former would make it too easily exploitable as a player; I could just gain it through marriage for example (or even choose to play as them) and then switch my capital there. I would never be able to be defeated in a multiplayer game. The latter is impossible.

You can mod it yourself if you want to - It's there to prevent spreading bloodlines like wildfire to anyone and everyone.

Perhaps it would be possible to make it carry over for females married matrinially?

You do realize there is a bloodline ambition, right? All it requires is that you not already have a bloodline trait.
