For me, I'd love to see the option for asking for Royal Marriages and, possibly/plausibly, for personal unions to occur (equivalent to satellites in Vicky 2) to be implemented along with the ability to build factories in individual provinces with a certain amount that I could build (if at all) based on total population and craftsmen. It would also be interesting to see a HRE-esque organization form up, possibly an early European Union.

Please have a separate manpower pool. One of the most frustrating things in Victoria 2 is how regiments automatically gets deleted if it's place of origin can no longer supply the unit with manpower.Realistically, recruits would have been transferred to the unit from other areas.Trade routes also needs to be in the game.

But there is a problem in this. The Great Depression was a result of the Great War and actions taken by US. So if we alter greatly history in our playthroughs, couldn't the economical crisis be delayed or even avoided?
Yes for some scenarios I think that the Great Depression can be avoided
Also in the line (CONVERTORS) CK2 - EU4 - VICTORIA 3 - HoI a scenario will cover 1100 .

Victoria III should have a proper economic system with inflation, real protectionism that allows state to stop imports and exports (or set/subsidize their prices), and possibly different currency for everyone to model the enormous effort that was taken to maintain the world economy, and the serious effects it had after the Great War.

That way, communism will actually have a meaning rather than just implementing a dictatorship with planned economy and a pretty flag.

Would love to have "traveling time" factor in the price. Encourage to make factory in province near the ressource. It could also be crucial for some nation to control the ressource near they country.
For exemple Japon would have cheap silk but might have some province to supply oil and some metal because England is controlling all south east asia.

Ok , I'm again here and I'm thinking about the early mass distruction weapons : Gas Attack . How should it be used and when to be avaible?
Alternate scenario : Early Nuke ?
WW1 system ?
Trade Embargos ?
There are so many questions ...
Who can make the maps and the timelines ?

- Every country should have a ruler. You would be able to see his portrait and name, and he would be a historical character based on your starting date, just like in EUIV.

- Laissez-faire usually results in disaster in Vicky II. In Victoria III, it should work a little better, without most of your factories going bankrupt so easily.

I will think about more.

-Defined government types with different options, parties, etc.
-Option for African nations to become a protectorate; this will stop any European invasions, but nation needs to be advanced enough and AI probably won't do it
-Core system replaced with something more appropriate to the timeframe
-Great/Secondary powers defined by criteria instead of ranking (with addition of Tertiary Powers with lesser criteria)
-Any country can join a Great War on any side

A minor idea, but I may as well bring it up nonetheless.

While browsing the V2 forums a while ago, I noticed that I'm not the only one who isn't happy about the maginot line type fortifications that the player and AI are keen on building. My suggestion is to emulate the situation with the naval yards and to build forts on a regional rather than provincial level. Ideally, each region would have a designated capital (to avoid oddities with split regions in Germany, Italy, etc.) and early forts would exist only in that province. However, this fort should function like the MotE forts where a fort that is not under siege can retake surrounding provinces if an enemy army isn't present; I figure this situation would work well for fort levels 1-3. For levels four and after, the non-capital provinces would gain fort levels as well.

A full-fledged financial industry in which development is stoked by private banks and the fluctuations of the stock market.

A transportation and logistics system that causes goods to flow along natural trade routes and makes it possible to break a nation in war by occupying their key provinces and isolating their armies.

Lots of abilities to intervene in the economy. Tariffs and embargoes for individual nations and goods, the ability to completely plan our economy as a Communist country, and Spheres of Influence where we request specific favors from our client states.

The ability for large companies to form and influence government, such as by funding political parties that support their goals.

Dynamic political parties formed around Pops with similar Issues and Ideologies.

Dynamic revolts and civil wars. Guerrilla wars that can cripple even big countries.

Religion that actually matters.

A logical balance of power, diplomats (and heads of state) as major characters, and complex negotiations.

Corruption, allowing some people to be corrupt allowing capitalist to force their ideas on the government, although this would piss off the low-middle class.
HOI III Democracy and not just some random political party owning it all, such as allowing a conjoined cabinet. Such as HOS is Fascist but HOG is Republican.
Forcing tariff's on some but not all states.
Able to core things faster then waiting for a random event.
Better CK2 revolts, allowing a early U.S.A civil war/Indian independence.
Maybe a HOI3 province-siege system, aka you don'have to wait for a while, THIS GETS ANNOYING IN LATE GAME.
Dynamic World Wars, aka wars that drag on and kill allot of damn people that truly shows world wars.
Less reactionary revolts when trying to westernize. (I ONCE GOT 3 MILLION PEOPLE REVOLTING AS JAPAN AFTER TAKING MANCHURIA!)
Able to proclaim freedom of religion and IT MATTERS.
Trade that matters.
More complicated pops, it seems a bit simple to me, i mean, i did kinda like looking in my officers tab to see what religion they were, but i allways looked at two pops the most, Farmers,Laborers, and
Factory workers, the NEED SOCIALISM DAMN-IT!
Yeah, that's, about it, unless we want to do something about the German Empire....

Would be nice if Interventionism and Laissez Faire were actually the best policies and Planned Economy / State Capitalism sucked as much dick as they did historically. This is hard to achieve, however, as the player will always be able to make more intelligent choices than the AI.

I'd prefer it if each of them had their own uses...where laissez faire is best for a developed nation with good access to resources (such as the US), and planned economy being able to be used to rapidly industrialise a backwards but resource rich country (like Russia, China, or Brazil), state capitalism could be used as a last resort to recover from economic disaster (like during a Great Depression), interventionism could be the go-to for most countries to shield fledgling industry from foreign competition and develop it in a beneficial way for the state.

I really want improved diplomacy, its good in vicky 2, but it lacks some stuff i really want. For example, i cant embargo other country, i cant stop selling products to one country, i cant subsidize country in peace time or send some money to other country (unlike in vicky 2 where you can only send certain amount of money and only in war time), i cant send ultimatum to other country, i cant control price of my production.
Also, i would love to have more control over my industry.. Its huge part of game so it should be even more complex.

Ultimatum is a must-have. That's what started the first world war! And it would be a great and fun mechanic.
