Conclave is by far the worst DLC for any paradox game ever so you should avoid that like plague. It adds nothing useful to the game instead it makes the game so much worse.

If you're still trying to decide, that's pretty much the best buy rather than buying piecemeal. For the price of two expansions you get most of the older DLCs and a ton of cosmetics. Just throw in Way of Life and you'll have basically everything of importance.

Indeed, I feel like it's good, over $150 worth of DLC for $30. Already bought it, actually.

To bad that pack doesn't update it's price when you already have several of the pieces inside it. Would have been a good deal otherwise.

True, but for someone like me who didn't have any DLC, it is great.

Old gods was the most awesome DLC! Other than that I love Way of Life because of how you can do special actions depending on your focus and Reaper's due is actually cool. A lot of dying and I feel the tension when I go around leading my men with my high chief (who is one armed, one legged, and one eyed! and has 35 martial!) and I get notifications that I am suffering from headaches and fatigue.

My personal Tier List:

Tier 1: ("Must Have" in order)
Old Gods, Way of Life, Reaper's Due, Sons of Abraham, Legacy of Rome,

Tier 2: (Strongly consider the buy; buy it, if you want to play as THAT specific faction)
Sword of Islam,The Republic, Conclave, Horse Lords, Charlemagne, Rajas of India

Tier 3: (Shennanigans and Cosmetics)
Ruler Designer, Sunset Invasion, Graphical DLC, Music DLC.

CK2 to EUIV Converter could be Interesting if you plan to play EU IV.

Conclave is actually a nice DLC if you ask me.... I can understand that some people don't like it.
As a "new player" this might adds some trouble, but I'm a new player myself and I really like it.
It takes away some of the almighty ruler feeling and forces you to assasinate/make deals/ do stuff to/ some people you would otherwise just ignore.
If you play as a vassal yourself it adds actually much to the game.

Worst DLC for me is Rajas and Republic.

I snacked almost everything in steam summer sale and purchased Reaper's Due now on release.

Reapers due has now been relased, is it worth getting? How much does it improve the game?
It's pretty sick.

So there's a sale on wingamestore and i'm thinking of picking up one of the DLC i'm missing, but i can only afford one atm. So: Horse Lords or Conclave? Only reason Horse Lords is an option is the Silk Road and Tributaries, i probably wouldn't play as a nomad any time soon. It seems like i'd get more out of conclave (and since the hated stuff is mostly patch shit we all got anyway). What do you guys think?

If you're not playing nomads buy conclave, the council mechanics it adds are awesome. All the hate was for the defensive pacts and shattered retreat which came with the pach (and now you can turn them on anyway). The silk road is nothing special i harldy ever think of it (and if you're playing in europe you wont notice it) and tributaries are kinda meh...
