Pardon me, if these have already been suggested. I'm from out of town.
1) Increase air and naval base from 10 to 12. 12 is a number that fits well with the current air and naval commander ranks.
2) Change the autopromote feature of air and naval commanders to match the land commanders.
3) Add a "Reconnaissance" model to the aircraft research tab. Allow this type to gather additional information that would reflect greater intel like photo recon, for example. This would permit longer looks at inland provinces and enemy units. Speed would be its greatest defence.
4) Allow for more than one brigade per (land) division. Maybe two or three per division would suffice. This seems more accurate. Germany was famous (or infamous, depending one's point of view) for having many "reinforced" divisions, especially on the Eastern Front. Yes I know manpower was a factor and many of these were understrength.
5) Add another tree to the Armor & Artillery research tab, for SP assault guns. It's a pet peeve of mine that as soon as I research "Improved SP" the StugIII is no longer available. I would just like to see a bit more variation. Suggestions include the StugIII (most numerous variants), M4(105), SU-76 (and larger guns), Centaur and Churchill variants, and so on.
It would be nice if the StugIII didn't disappear from the game once the StuH42 appears. After all, the Stug III was Germany's most produced armored fighting vehicle throughout the war. The German assault gun tech tree might feature several StugIII variants.
