Shouldn't be too hard. I imagine it being fixed in an estimated 46 seconds.
Actually, a bit more than that.
1) Check the code, find the problem
2) Run a test where you can see the problem (by making Bitter Peace fire manually)
3) Fix the problem in the code
4) Run the same test as #2 to see if the problem has been fixed.

So it's more like 5 minutes. Needless to say, but fixed in 1.03. :D

If it hasn't been mentioned already, I would love to see the "War Games" decision apply to divisions too. It could be called "Maneuvers" or ""Advanced Training" or something like that and once you select it, you can choose a division, ship, or air wing and have its experience increased. Also, I wish you could select which general receives the skill increase when choosing "War Games."

Then at least disable org gain for AI when moving. I repeat it's incredibly frustrating and ridiculous how the same militas can be routed only to return two days later in the same battlefield, then routed again and so on.

Agree there, that's really annoying and also very unrealistic.. i mean it's completely illogical that after battle retreating/routed units gaining org, while victorious/pursuing units losing org?!

Probably the best solution would be that units dont lose or gain org at all while moving (retreating or attacking). Resting = gaining org, fighting = losing org. Both AI & player.

Do you have recommendations for who could be ministers and what traits they might have? There would also need to be source material to back up your beliefs. If you are willing to do that, I would bet that the devs would consider adding them. They likely won't on their own anytime soon since very few players would ever actually release them.

In my last game i conquered GB after SU and it surrender. But i dont mean the event where you get England as a puppet. It was the surrender of the hole British Empire also as a Event in DH.
But know there is something i dont understand!
If there comes the second Event and GB comes into Peace with you it gets still annexed by Canada!
I think the empire should still fall apart but it should leave all possible puppets as free nations with a event and dont get annexed by Canada.
When it get annexed the British isle is Canadian and you have to roll-over it a second time.

I think it is not logical, that the first surrender Event with a England Puppet and a still fighting GB, which get annexed by Canada, is a bigger progress then the hole surrender of GB which stay out of War complete and also gets annexed by Canada and you have to conquer the GB Terretoris a second time!

Please work over that event!

If the developers started working from Armageddon 1.3, then my proposals for improved Alien Invaders are included. I proposed:
- that Aliens should be independent (that is not just occupy their province of origin), and have full national rights and thus be able to declare wars and annex.
- that Alien carriers spawn with CAGs
- something else that I deemed vital.

They were incorporated and in Arma 1.3 all you needed is make fictional leaders and ministers for aliens. Then, they worked like a dream.

EDIT: oh and if you did not know already, there are indeed Aliens in HoI2.

Yes, I think that the devs should implement an alien race of sentient machines that takes part in a never-ending cycle of destruction of organic civilizations. Oh, sh**, that already happened in another game.

I know that USA researches, builds and deploy nukes at least in 36 sceanrio. Wanna see that for Sovietunion and Germany too in case of their victory in europa. Plus building a good navy too fight allies.

Expand the highway system. Could be done by making a smaller generic version of the autobahn events.
Expand the educational system. A generic equivalent of the National Defense Education Act (that sounds generic already...)

I would like to see the OOBs cleaned up and have the proper unitnames to avoid doubles. Also more political events are needed like 1935 UK election, 1936 Japanese election, Japanese PM changes,move startdate of 1933 scenario to January 1st this will allow the chance in Germany for Dolfy not to come to power and maybe lead to a restoration of the monarchy.
