Hi. I love trying new empires with different traits and civics and it would be nice if you could share your creations.

Maybe with a code that you can give away and enter on another console to get the same empire there. Could be a QR code so you don't have to write down a long number. (paste it with mobile app into game. Xbox has remote control app not sure about PS)

Not sure how it would work with a long bio but all other settings should fit in a medium sized string?

What do you think?

Good idea. Even if just to see what people play and might make me change how I play for something different. Then again, we can just post in this thread and explain why what we choose. So it might not be powerful or practical, it could be fun. Seeing that in a code with no explanations people could just think, "yeah, no. It sucks." and then miss out of a great fun game for differing reasons.

Start with your empire. Post here. :)

Elfkin
Tropical Climate

Intelligent (to speed research)
Highly Adaptable (to open colonization)
Slow Reproduction (to offset the widespread colonization ability. Seemed a logical choice to preclude a species overrunning a galaxy)
Repulsive (to negate outright diplomacy efforts)

Fanatic Pacifist (By nature, I am an aggressive sort. I wanted to force myself to play something outside my comfort zone)
Materialist (for the research boost. The robotics were immaterial to me)

Dictatorship (to reflect my being the only one making decisions)
Adept Bureaucracy (???) (To combat sprawl in early game, I wanted admin capacity)
Agrarian Idyll (seemed logical with the extreme pacifism, to be an agrarian culture)

***titles from memory so probably not specifically correct in all cases, but I believe you will comprehend my intent/meaning without my having to boot the game and look them up specifically)

Alrighty. So uhh, if anyone gets where the Idea for this empire came from, I will be happy.

Terran Federation
Citizen Stratocracy

Humans
Continental Climate
Intelligent (research)
Fleeting (Can always change ageing, just needed points for more traits)
Traditional (Unity trees boosting, get them ascendancy points)

Egalitarian (bc why not be the good guys)
Xenophile (have others like you)
Militarist (and still be able to kick others into oblivion)

Nationalistic Zeal (Makes you a "Service is Citizenship" state, plus war boosts)
Citizen Service (Same ^)

Government
Oligarchic (Same ^)

What this nation is, is a hyper militaristic nation who can wipe the floor with their enemies, but still be friends with everyone else. You know. Like Space USA almost.

The Ultraterrene, basically I flip the CoM and UN and keep respawning so my soyboy egalitarians end up on the falactic rim. Then conquest, last play through I ended up in direct control of 80% of the map. As it should be.

Sounds a little bit like the Nova Corps from GotG

My default these days is the USC (United Sol Cooperative), a Fanatic Egalitarian/Materialist faction with the Mechanist origin.

It’s starting from the assumption that Earth has enough resources and knowledge to make everyone happy and explore space, so why not do that instead of warring with each other like tramps fighting over a bag of chips in an alley?

It’s a Shared Burden empire where all the robots do the worker roles (I don’t go beyond Droids or use any Sapient AI) and the specialist roles are given to those who prove they’re capable (Meritocracy).

The most unrealistic aspect is that I’ve made Humans use Intelligence as a trait . We’re also natural engineers and weak in comparison to other species.

Basically Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism.

That's exactly what I was thinking of as well. If there was a simple share functionality within the game, that would be awesome.
Until then, when sharing the empire via forum a coherent and shematic approach would be beneficial.

I have two empires I would like to share with my son. One I got as an opposing force in my current game and it really is good.

One are vampire like overlords who live almost endlessly (necroid), but are not that good yet. Or I was just to asocial when appearing to new neighbors and made to many empire.

Second one, which I played and now have as my overpowered opponent, while playing the vampires, are void borne space dwarfs (Dunkelzwerge). I just realized in my second game how strong they are.
Will write down the stats, when I am.at my PC.

Voiddwarfs Tradeleague (Finsterzwergische Handesliga) -

[I am translating this on the fly so no exact english titles are given.]

Government
Company
Tradeleague
Ethics
Xenophil
Fanatic materialist
Civics
Free traders
Specialists in puplic relations [I am not quite sure if that couldn be changed for a better one]
Species
Finsterzwerg
Humanoid (HP#11)
Origin
Void dweller
Traits [Thats where the fine tuning comes in and where I tried to specialise]
Void dweller
Industrious [we need a lot of minerals for your habitats, the planets we leave to all assimilated species]
Charismatic [Amenities from Jobs +20%]
Thrifty [for the plus in economic value]
Unruly [we won't spread that far, for we don need many systems for our habitats]
Non adaptive [who needs planets? my dwarfs love the void]

I think this empire is a good basis if you want to go tall instead of large.
If you don't know how to play habitats, watch this video from Aspec!

If you try it out, leave a comment and tell me what you experienced, or what you would improve.
HAVE FUN!
