First I want to say that I love Stellaris so much and I played over 1200 hours since 2016!

I was reading through anomalies and I found out there are extremophile micro-organisms on my molten world and I was thinking that an extremophile-alien-races DLC would be very interesting.
Imagine alien life forms that can only survive on molten worlds or "ice-hells", maybe some extremophiles have adapted to live only in the atmosphere of gas giants... There is also an anomaly with shadows in the clouds of a gas giant like Jupiter.

Planet preferences should be more than just the planet type (tropical, continental, desert, etc..) when starting a new game. Some species may have adapted on a planet with "low gravity" modifier. Changing planet modifiers should be added to terraforming options. If you colonise a world with "high gravity" modifier but your species is adapted to "low gravity" there should be a change for your population to get random mutations on that planet.
For example they mutate to be more adapted to "high gravity" but lose one positive trait like "fast breeders".
I think that would be very cool but it´s just my opinion... Autorian species would say... "nobody cares".

There should be swarms that don´t have technology but can create organic space-stations and living ships like the "Prethoryn Scourge"! They can only evolve in different drones, just like an ant colony... There are soldiers that have huge mandibles and smaller workes... Every "research" should cost DNA-Points that you get from growing pops and eating other species ... (i don´t know how this should work but i like to have a 100% biologic empire)

But my most stupid idea so far:
Stellaris but you start from stone age o_O:D
Imagine if players could start from stone age and are very close to each others and the first who can travel faster than light is a hunter in the dark forest and have to eliminate the others before he gets exterminated... (dark forest theory)

Why mega-structures are limited? Why can´t build a dyson sphere in every system if i want? Its OP but thats not how the universe work and this game will NEVER be balanced and that´s ok beacuse real life is not balanced as well.

Sorry for stupid ideas but my brain go brrrr sometimes

Something that keeps happening, and just happened to me...Give me the ability to shut off the L-gates pre-game....I love that DLC but I hate when the AI releases the Grey Tempest when no one in the galaxy has more than 20K fleets....I'm hours into this game and now it's just done, not because of any gameplay I was doing, but because the goddamned game just rolled a dice and said 'welp you're done'. And no 'you can go into the game file info and shut it off' is not an acceptable work around. We can literally slider everything except the goddamned game ending nonsense that the AI invariably forces on us. If not the ability to shut off the L-gates then a slider that let's us choose what's in the cluster..... This crap didn't start happening until the most recent set of patches/DLC, yes the AI didn't open the gates that early before the known about bug that locked the cluster into a single event.
