It has often struck me, that the whole logic about the DLC Ruler Designer is a bit messed up...
Not only does the portrait change, after you start the game - but there is also a rather annoying little thing I would hope Paradox would change to the next patch... That when you use Ruler Designer to start a new dynasty, replacing the historical one, the former ruler would die or at least get exiled! There is no sense in that the old King/Duke/Count/Whatever steps down the throne, leaving it to you, and then place himself in the court...
I know of course it is a small thing, that does not add much, but at least it would give some good meaning - aswell as it would be a better start on your own new dynasty, to create an illusion where you have either coup'ed the ruler and exiled him, or that he died, and you made claim to the throne, ignoring the old rulers dynasty...
Does it make sense? Or is it only me thinking that this should be fixed in the future...?

Mongol-faced Orthodox Norman reigning over Iceland doesn't make much sense in the first place, even if he did kill the previous ruler.

What I'd like is the ability to modify an existing ruler. As is, we can't just switch around a few traits on a historical figure, or alter the dynasty CoA in game.

Well, now I am not talking about the Extremes... But for us who uses Ruler Designer to create ahistorical but natural alternative dynasties, it would make sense that the previous ruler not just got "changed out" with a new one...
Like if I would like to create a young Norman, who should rule over England from 1067, I would think it was better to have William the Conquerror either die or got exiled to another realm, than to have the possibility to have him as my Spymaster!
Of course his children should still have Claim on the throne, but we would get rid of the ex-ruler...
