[Suggestion / Pre-Release-Stream] Show different characters & game mechanics

Tldr - Leave Alfonso to his fate and show off lots of different characters / lifestyles / game mechanics, multiple per stream

After 2,5 hours of murdering, kidnapping, torturing, kinslaying and general adultery I think it is time to leave The Father of Spain behind and move on to show off different cultures and religions.
As I understand, Crusader Kings III is a vast game with lots of options and opportunities. Why not feature some of them in a single stream for wow-effect?
Here are some of my suggestions for characters and focus points, feel free to add to the list:

- Björn Ironside, Duke of Uppland (raiding, invasions)
- Denha Yaballahah, Emir of Socotra (nestorian, troops embarking and landing)
- Manasseh II Bulanid, Khan of Khazaria (jewish, vassal management)

1066
- William the Bastard, Duke of Normandy (fate of England, demesne limit, handing out land to vassals)
- Matilda di Canossa, Duchess of Tuscany (marriage options and alliances, hre mechanics / emperor selection(?), title creation)
- Virarajendra Chola, Rajakesari of Chola (dynastic legacies, economy focus, buildings and holding upgrades)

Go on a crusade and / or a jihad !

Let's just say I wouldn't take offense to the idea of finally fullfilling the ambition to -land- the hottest of Rods
Or go the other way, show us what it's like to lose to the rebellion and what that entails. And then move on.

Probably a week or so before launch when youtubers usually get to play with and hype up the game.
OneProudBavarian had a really nice video in a CK2-Stories style. Maybe we will see something similar.

I disagree. I'm not against showing different mechanics per se, but I'd like to see how the game process is organized on normal gameplay.

I totally agree with this.

They should NOT start over. We only get a few more episodes before launch and starting over is pretty much deja vu every time. Pick your councillors, do a mini invasion, setup your court. Let's see how the civil war goes for Iberia. Let's see more advanced gameplay when they have enough money to make more decisions/choices etc.

I'd love to see the scenarios you guys talk about, BUT there isn't time to do any of them justice. You won't see anything different than episode 1 of the live stream.

They should NOT start over. We only get a few more episodes before launch and starting over is pretty much deja vu every time. Pick your councillors, do a mini invasion, setup your court. Let's see how the civil war goes for Iberia. Let's see more advanced gameplay when they have enough money to make more decisions/choices etc.

I'd love to see the scenarios you guys talk about, BUT there isn't time to do any of them justice. You won't see anything different than episode 1 of the live stream.

Alternatively, they could just do a stream on another day of the week. One for their current play through, and another to show off different regions and features and such. Or perhaps even a multiplayer stream, where we could observe the perspectives of different devs to see how different regions play, and how well multiplayer works in CK3.

I'm not sure streaming game for more then one game per week is the best way to spend developers' payed work time.

I'm not sure they can release info though. There was a signup for a CK3 key for creators and on the page, it specifically stated that youtube wasn't allowed to be shown until 9/1. There was something else that I'm drawing a blank on that could be shown on 8/31, but that is only 1 day anyhow. So not sure that we'll see anything from anyone other than the specific people working with Paradox to show us the tutorial videos and such before then.

Usually Paradox release beta AARs in the run-up to release, so I'd expect to see some of those either this week or next.

With Hearts of Iron IV, I seem to remember various streamers were allowed to post videos (using the preview build) before the game was released. At least, I think that was the case.

I'd be amazed if we don't get stuff like this during the week before release, and especially as presumably people will have been sent the release build (as it's been locked down for ~3 weeks for localization and distribution).

And that's exactly the point - I don't want to see features now, I want to see gameplay.
