I would suggest that in future updates added the pedestrian streets, streets that can build buildings but where cars can not pass. It's very common in Europe.

Streets like this:

Thanks!

well vehicles need to, otherwise buildings zoned on it would not function. rubbish would pile up, if any fires or crimes were committed the respective emergency services would not be able to help. hearses wouldn't be able to go down them to pick up corpses.

There also exist "Poller" - they automatically fall and rise, for registered cars (police, taxi, ambulance).
In depencence of time commercial traffic is allowed to enter for delivering goods.
People living inside this zones are also registered to get in at any time.

Some cities also disallow bicycling in this zones.

Here is a picture, I found on the web from the City I live in:

like i said in a thread about parks getting an option to not always having to be right on the roads....

there is at least ONE park in my area, that i know for sure... that isn't right on the road. rather, it's snapped to a gravel parking lot at the front, on the left side is woods, and the remaining two sides is apartments/condos.

there are also parks and what not that have a service drive for them, whether right on the road...or a long windy/straight driveway.

it would be more realistic and diverse to have something like this in the game. also.... some houses have long windy driveways.... i'd like to see that in the game too!
