An option to write own names for Buildings would be a small but neat addition. For example, if we could name an University after a good General, President, or other names, so we type a name and it gets additioned to the Building name, "Wizzington University". That would make finding buildings on a list much easier and make the experience a bit more "alive", each Building would feel charming, appreciated.

I enjoyed the named features in Stellaris with some starting planets like the BosWash Metropolitan Axis and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch for Earth. It would be fun to have that be available here too and would also be good flavor for buildings that already exist at the start of the game.

Aww yeah, take a page out of Cities Skylines book! I loved naming random people like "Shlumpy McFreak" and stuff like that. I'd love to name individual logging camps and shipyards and stuff. "Shlumpy McFreak Memorial Stationary Factory", etc.

Could never get the hang out naming HoI4 division templates though. My heavy tanks always just end up being called "Da Big Boys" every game and everyone else was just the default.

Now that you mention it, it would be neat if there was a database of regional auto generated names so the industries we build with the capitalists investments are named to their liking, making it feel less like a state company. Also there could be real names too, why not, have Ford or General Motors pop up as automobile companies.

Assuming we have already name lists for politicians, generals and so on, it should be relatively easy to generate building names along the lines of "Lastname, Lastname & Co."

It would be cool to have the names sometimes be different depending on the state. So if you put your automobile factories in Michigan it might be Ford or GM, but if you put them in Indiana in might be Studebaker or Auburn.

I like this idea! If it's simple enough to implement, it should go into the game.

Simple personalization goes a long way toward a fun experience.

I really hope that they institute separate factories for the same good, so that we can have all the different car companies pop up in Michigan. At the moment it seems like there will just be one factory per good which will just expand indefinitely which I feel is a mistake. It would also allow different factories to upgrade their production methods, allowing some factories to pull ahead and consolidate into, for example, the Big Three of Detroit with Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors, or Germany's Daimler, Volkswagen, and BMW. It'd also be really interesting to somehow model the various trends of some countries towards monopolies like the USA's Trusts, oligopolies like Japan's Zaibatsu, and then the breakup of the Trusts in the USA after 1910 and all the resulting little companies.
