So I saw that a modder was able to add in-laws opinion to the game (a flat boost in relations)...
...but I'd like to know from you guys if you see anything that could fleshed out with this, adding a possible layer of challenging decisions to the player.
A simple "cover-it-all" boost in relations is alright, a step forward from not making any difference like we see now in the vanilla game -- but if we could make this more dynamic and vary according to the families position in relation to each other (a courtier should be all too happy about having his daughter marrying into a king's dynasty while an emperor wouldn't be that impressed to have his son marrying into a duke's family), or a dowry to be given with the daughter so the amount of money might have an impact on the in-laws opinion...
These are just examples of what I've imagined...
If it was up to you, would you have any suggestions on how to establish the in-laws opinion? What would be the criteria that might affect their opinions?
