Please consider changing the way these relationships function. In the Medieval period not only did people backstab thier family members to get ahead but the period is rife with instances in Noble Houses where the reverse was true as well.
I suggest you increase the weight the same dynasty value has, and create a number of events that can effect this relationship for better or worse. Events among siblings or relatives that can make them greatly favor each other, or hate each other. As it stands it makes no sense what so ever to place family relatives etc with a pretender tag in positions of power in the realm.
Frankly the way this is structured leads to a very AHISTORICAL gameplay result. I can quote historical examples where noble houses spanning centurys calmly treated thier fifes as family concerns. As it is one would get the impression all nobles did was spend all thier time trying to kill thier mothers, fathers, and siblings, not to mention the uncles aunts and others that doted on you now want nothing else but to throw your realm into endless strife because of the way this PRETENDER stuff is structured.
Bieng part of the same family should make you MUCH LESS likely to try to drive the ricebowl your entire extended family depends on into chaos.
One last suggestion, Reduce the rate in which troops replenish in a fife. The exception bieng if you have your marshall in a location training. Most professional soldiers of the day became so after years of training. And each noble of this period had a finite number of these professionals available in thier service. What nobles were able to raise in the case of a energency was essentially the peasantry enmasse in times of crisis, and these peasant soliders were worthless faced with a professional soldier. I am guessing light infantry models the serfs pressed into service. Keep that rate as it is reduce everything else.
Edited to add this as well, typically in this period a vassal was required to raise his levy for 90 days at his expense to serve his lord in times of war, The kicker for dissent over the time frame you keep them raised should bear this in mind. IF a vassal refused this would give thier lord justification to remove thier title, with the possibility of the noble in question rebelling over this issue.
Some food for though.
