This has always bugged me in vanilla, and recently I ran into it in this mod too. And IMHO it wouldn't be too hard to fix.

Presently, the event chain drains away character wealth, putting me in debt practically always, regardless of how much money I have or how much I earn... and for this, I get a tower that exists as a character modifier and only gives prestige, and dies with my current ruler. It has a flavor text saying it's a freaking huge tower that will make your castle more defensible, but it does nothing to that effect... nor does it's disappearance have any ingame explanation, unlike the Necronomicon, even though a whole tower vanishing into thin air is hella more eldritch than a missing book and two mangled servants.

What I propose is: make the tower A) an actual building in a holding, or B) a permanent province modifier. In either case, the start of the event chain should check for a demesne holding/province that doesn't yet have a tower. Then, the event chain goes as it does now, but in the end it gives the building/province buff instead of the character buff. Thus, the great tower doesn't disappear inexpicably upon death, improving immersion greatly.

Nice idea. Same goes to the garden. Perhaps some events chain to lose them as well? For example, every new ruler could receive event either to invest in renovations or neglect it.
