I like the new UI but heres a bit of Criticism after 4 hours of playing the Game.

1. In the select country screen, the one you arrive to when you start a new game. When we put the cursor over the culture, government type, heritage, religion could you give us the same information like what will happened if we hover the cursor over them after starting the game.

Yes, I know you could hover over the icon beside the Heritage to show the information about the heritage but its a lot better if you could just see the same information if you hover over the name of the heritage.

2. In the tops screen where it shows Treasury, manpower, etc. could you return the old functionality when you press them.

Like when you press the Treasury it should open the Economic window, or when you press War exhaustion or Stability, it should open the Religious tab as well.

3. In the import screen in the province window. When you press import, there should be an indication if said good is available for import like in 1.5. I found it tiring to have to press every single good to determine if there is one that i could import.

4. In the buildings tab, it should show what is needed to be able to build the unavailable buildings. Like how X building needs y tech to be able to be built. So new players will not need to search for it.

5. In the inventions tab, could you place in the description which ones are Tag specific or Government type specific like in 1.5.

6. Legion History date still uses BCE.

7. Add a married filter in the character search window.

By and large I really like the new UI but I'm having a problem finding the following or find them confusing:

1) There used to be a display under Military called Cohorts that summarized the cumulative bonus for each unit type. Like +10% Offense/Defense/Discipline/etc.
2) When trading you can select the good even if nobody will trade with you. It should be greyed out if there are no possible partners.
3) I can't seem to find a count of a character's/families holdings. I've been clicking revoke holding to see how many they have.

+1 for this

The province UI being autohidden is also annoying.

The ability to interact with a country by clicking on any of its provinces has changed to a cumbersome method via the diplomacy menu. I would prefer a reversion to the pre-2.0 system.

To be honest, I felt the same way at first, but this new way is more intuitive imo. At first it feels janky because I was so used to the old way.

However this way I can easily get information of nearby friendly or enemy territories, without having to cumbersomely deal with a bunch of stuff I don't want to see.

If I want to deal with diplomacy I click the diplomacy button then click on any country I want to deal with. It really is more intuitive in the end.

I would suggest more clarity in the trade window. It's a bit unclear what trade goods are available and the tool tip doesn't show the benefits of the products.
