[Suggestion] Change Country Name

We have it basically for CK2, i would like to see it for eu4.


Its quite unsettling if you cant change your country´s name, changeing it could be so much more motivating, since you can customize it.

You can mod it by changing the localization file. I don't think modifying localization will affect the ironman or anything else, so that's an option if you want to do it a slightly less convenient way.

Go to the Programme > Steam > SteamApps > Common > Europa Universalis IV > localization. There's a file "countries_l_english.yml." Open it up with a decent text editor (e.g. Notepad++, rather than vanilla notepad). You'll see the country names and adjectives. Change it to what you want.

CEY: "Ceylon"
CEY_ADJ: "Ceylonese"

to

CEY: "Vacation"
CEY_ADJ: "Tourist"

will change the name.
