This is a perfect example of the problems that majesty could absolutely destroy and banish.

Yes, that's a good example of the huge, glaring, gaping flaw in the RTS genre. It's such a big problem that RTS games that have it aren't fun to play.

The strangest thing is that this flaw been successfully remedied on several occasions by several different RT games, and yet the biggest franchises in the genre continue to act as though no problem exists. I suppose that's because their players don't demand a solution.

Ha ! there will be soldiers, according to several reviews.
However It's still up in the air as to how they will be lead.
I'd probably make sense to bind them to heroes, as to reduce the amount of AI calculation needed to produce behavior for larger armies :D

In fact, the hardcore Starcraft players protest anything that even looks like it might be addressing this, seeing the balance between micro- and macro-focussed strategies as one of the features of professional competition...
