1. There should be a new civic for extreme pacifism called "Peace Keeper". Allowing you to join any existing war on the defensive side, granting you favors, positive opinion buffs, and influences, maybe a pop up message from the empire you helped thanking you with a little extra resources. Guaranteeing other empire's independence also stop causing influences.

2. There should also be a colossus that turns planets into tomb worlds, it would synergize well with post apocalypse origin and the new botanic trait Radiotrophic. Story wise a pre-ftl civilization can easily bomb it's own planet into tomb world, it should be easy enough for a empire that are able to build a colossus.

3. Phototropic should be a species trait that doesn't take trait slot or trait point, just like lithoids.

4. There should be a technology that increases maximum traits after picking genetic ascension.

5.Psyonic ascended empires should be able to brain-wash people, I not sure how to implant this mechanic though.

6. The spying tradition tree should stop all infiltration level from deteriorating after finished.

1) If implemented properly, I'm generally fine with this, but I could see some issues coming about. I'd rather not get called to the defense of say, the Fanatic Purifiers Prikki-Ti Gekkos just because they got war declared on them.

2) That would fall under Colossus weapon tech, not the Colossus itself. I.E. A rare tech unlock. Although it might be best to tie it to any Origin that makes you start on a Tomb World.

3) So you want to change an completely optional trait, and make it into an ingrained trait for Plantoid/Fungoid portaits? Only if they tweak the trait to more closely resemble what the Lithoid trait does. Otherwise, leave it as it is.

4) Why? There's no real reason for this. The limit for max traits is fine as it is, because not all traits are created equal and they should be important choices you need to choose from [much like Ascension Perks]. If you want a trait on a species, run it, but if you want something else, either obtain another species to put that trait on, or create a subset of your species and put the trait on it.

5) So the Divine Enforcer Colossus weapon, which when used, makes all bio pops on a planet Spiritualist?

6) If implemented properly, sure that is fine.

1. That's why I said "allowed to", it's optional, not mandatory.

2.Yes, I knew that XD, I've played stellaris for thousands of hours. Wrong choice of words, you know what I mean.

3. Yes, I do. All plants are capable of photosynthesis, that's part of the definition. Fungoids, they should've came up with something else.

4. The balancing of traits is ok and I'm fine with that, the problem is after the genetic ascension, I often found myself stuck with 2 trait point and 1 trait slot. My only option is to pick a mediocre trait, but I would like to pick one more negative trait and one more advanced trait. I want to make my species extremely specialized instead of just mediocre all around.

5. Divine enforcer... it's more useful shooting your own planet than shooting others. Colossus should render a planet out of commision in one shot, that's why it takes an ascension slot and only one available per empire. And what divine enforcer does is make them... a little unhappy, or even happier if they are in a spiritualist empire. It' not even permanant, just a couple years and it's as if nothing ever happened.

You did gave me an idea, maybe dropped the planet's stability to 0 for 10 years.

I think the L-Cluster could need an update. In the event that you can't terraform the nanite worlds (like in "Gray"), its basically the most boring place in the Galaxy ;-)
A little "story pack" would be nice, with several randomly spawning L-Cluster-specific archeology sites and specific anomalies to be found only there too. Maybe some tech as well? Or another "Strategic resources edict" with nanites than just the one there is? Something that improves synthetic ascension? The possibilities are endless :D

Cheers!

1) That's sounds very unbalanced, and as the war system is already very bad designed and bugged, adding a function to join an on-going war won't make things any better. And it's a bit paradoxal that a fan. Pacifist can manage to be more warmongering than a fan militarist empire.

2) This one could be cool, but a bit redundant with the Armageddon bombardement stance.

5) The psionic colossus already do it. It turns all pops to spiritualist, place a +1000% spiritualist attraction and destroy every robot and Gestalt pop on the planet.

6) It's more like espionnage need some rework to not be a totally useless feature. Maybe I'm bad a the game, but I can just completely ignore espionage, just relying on bribery and diplomacy to get the intel I need until I build a sentry array.

Dear Devs,

why does the game end so poorly? There's not even an uplifting picture or something... How 'bout some game statistics, graphs, stuff like the old Civilization-games had? Anything would be nice, really... ;-)
