At the moment, a curious situation can happen. Burgundy can utterly dominate France. Take Paris, have bigger armies and more provinces in the French region.
But then Charles the Bold dies, and Burgundy can fall under French rule.
I propose an alt Burgundian succession. The condition is to Fulfil the King of the Franks mission, thus proving Burgundian dominance over France. Like how Aragon gets to be the senior in the Iberian wedding, if the human is in control, with a bit more work that has to be put in. Burgundy can get an alt Burgundian succession, where Marie marries the French king/prince but is the senior in the relationship because Burgundy is stronger. France can refuse this, but launches a PU war.
Burgundy by doing this, won't get to inherit its low land PUs. But gets France as a PU. So a bit of a trade-off. And Austria is still an issue, trying to take back the HRE territories.
Burgundy, of course, won't inherit France through event when Marie dies.
