**spoiler warning**
Do not continue if you do not wish for crisis event chain to be spoiled.
First let me just say, I really enjoy the crisis event chain but there are 1 or 2 things I was a bit disappointed with.
1) Taking the ascension perk prevents you becoming custodian. The two should not be mutually exclusive, one could easily see emperor Palpatine wanting to tear a hole in the fabric of reality for personal power whilst simultaneously maintaining an iron grip on the galaxy. The goal of the crisis event chain is to ascend by opening the shroud, this should no be mutually exclusive to political games (though the penalty for being a crisis empire meaning people don't like you and it is hard to buy favors is 100% fair).
2) Upon reaching the final stage of the crisis event chain total war is declared on you without having to pass a resolution in the galactic community. You are immediately expelled. This kind of follows on from the last one, but imagine where despite putting the galaxy at risk you have such a grip on the political structure that they cant even pass a resolution to go to war with you, might I add muahaha.
3) Having a tributary should count towards menace in the same/similar way having a vassal does.
Anyway I really like a lot of the other things, like ships that you build with minerals rather than alloys. What do you think?
