Hello all,

I'm looking to start a new game of CK II w/ CK2+, Titular Title Generator and SoI & LoR DLCs, starting from 1066.

I usually just pick someone from a benighted Catholic province and see how it goes. Can anyone suggest a highly challenging noble to play?

Any Christian count or duke under the Seljuks early on in the game, if you can break free and create the Kingdom of Syria or Armenia I have great respect for you.

Start as the Count of Dorostotum in 1066.
As far as I can tell he is the ONLY Bulgarian landowner in the game in September 15, 1066.
His brothers are both Greek, though he is descended from the Kings and Khans of Bulgaria.
His liege is the Duke of Turnovo, nephew to the Emperor of Byzantium!
Fight the Greeks, form the Kingdom of Bulgaria, eventually declare independence and make the so-called "Romans" quiver in their knickers!

But really, do it.
I want to see an AAR of a 1-county count making Bulgaria.

Oh, and at least A LOT of nearby counties are Bulgarian-cultured. No culture penalties for you, +2% revolt risk for all your neighbors.

The Duke of 1-county Deheubarth, Wales. Rush to get an heir under the age of 60 before your dynasty dies out! :D

I like Napoli too, but strictly played as a Greek orthodox : you just can't marry or ally with any of those catholic usurpers (basically everyone else in Italy), can you?
