Suddenly, a whole mess of mods no longer work.

Last night everything was fine, I was happily able to play with all my mods. I turned off my computer to go to bed. This morning, I turn the computer back on and a whole mess of mods suddenly are not working. Some are, some are not. They all appear in the launcher, they are all flagged as being supposedly active, but they most definitely are not.

I've tried relaunching many times. I've tried unsubscribing from the mods, launching, resubscribing then relaunching, etc.. I've tried everything I can think of and have absolutely no clue why things that were working fine yesterday should suddenly no longer be working.

I figured it out. A mod I added this morning added vast numbers of extra files, completely unnecessarily, and overwrote much of my existing mods. Deleting it fixed the issue.

I wish we had load order.
