Playing as Germany, I was pushing the USSR pretty good, but they were still putting up pretty decent resistance with lots of divisions. All of a sudden, nearly all of their divisions disappeared and the rest had their ORG go down to just about nothing (with a handful of exceptions). What would cause that? Has anyone experienced this?

The AI probably was reshuffling their frontlines and armies. If a new front opened up somewhere either through a new ally joining the war or a naval invasion broke out from it's port and expanded quickly, the AI sometimes begins transferring whole armies all over the Soviet interior trying to cover the new threat. I've noticed the Soviets have this problem the most due to the sheer size of all their frontlines and the distance between their fronts as well since the country stretches all the way from Leningrad to Vladisvostok.

This also happened to me as the USSR vs Germany, and it was a significantly smaller front (I had pushed to Poland), they just abandoned the northern frontline in Königsberg.
