I've noticed a couple of bugs since the new patch, a couple of examples are below:

- Under Agnatic-Cognatic Gavelkind the son of my dead elder daughter was ahead of my younger sons in the line of succession.
- Under Agnatic-Cognatic Primogeniture, my eldest son died leaving only a daughter, but my second son was ahead of her in the line of succession.

Neither seems right to me!?

My Gavelkind issue of today: Trying to snatch the Kingdom of Poland for my next generations. Law is Agnatic-Cognatic, CA is medium.

Married my two twin sons to their King's two daughters, wait till they have sons.
Then i killed the heir to Poland and his son. Seemed fine, his eldest daughter, married to my sole heir, was now his heir.
Checking ten years later, as the younger of the two polish Princesses (married to my twin heirs) dies- and now HER son is first in line, then his brother, then the other , elder daughters son (who is my heir).
Any idea why that?

Had something similar

Inheritance bug ?
I hope I am right here and does not file anything that was solved already.
Additionally I am not sure if it is a bug or if I just don't get the inheritance rule.

Situation :

I am King of Georgia and got Agnostic-Cognativ Gravelkind law.

I have 4 Living children

1. Daughtee
1.a granddaughter
2. Son (heir)
3. Son (bishop - so out of succession)
4. Daughter

Now my heir is married to the my granddaughter (1a) because she is Queen of Poland.

What happened is my 1st Daughter died and suddenly my heir changes from my oldest son to my granddaughter ...

How does that work ?

I'm having the same problem. Here's a screenshot:

ck272.jpg

- Before this image, the reason why I have 2 dead sons was because I killed them. During Gavelkind, it skipped my first son (Fredrich) for my 2nd son. When I switched to Primogeniture (Agnatic Cognatic), it skipped my 2nd son and had my 3rd son as heir. I changed to Agnatic to see if that helped any. Then it completely skipped my entire family line.

This is with the 1.06b patch.

I can 100% confirm that Gavelkind now prefers the line of the first son over his siblings, pretty much like Primogeniture did before 1.06.
Deep into a Latin Empire game at where I was overjoyed 60 years ago when the Old HREmperor granted my inferior first-born a bishopric, but since then I did not die yet and had to dump 2 sons and 2 grandsons of my son(!!) inbishoprics as well to have my second born be recognized for at least my main title. Demesne will be lost to random offspring of one of my sons, can live with that, my boys have their own, but still this is totally broken.

yes, in 1.06b it's definitly broken!
my third cousin 'somehow' managed to get a STRONG claim on a kingdom created by my mother (the just dead Queen), under the agnatic primogeniture!
nonsence.

I suppose I'll wait till it is fixed in the next patch, then and only then I'll continue with my game.
