Subsidy change not in patch notes

There seems to have been a change to subsidy opinion mechanics in the latest patch that is unlisted in the patch notes. Before 1.8, you could use subsidies to gain a fairly high opinion bonus with most nations, provided you spent enough cash on them. Now the opinion bonus for receiving subsidies seems to be capped at 15, with no way to modify it. Is this intentional?

It was capped to 15 in 1.7 too? At least that's what I remember. Only thing amount of subsidies affects is how fast you get to +15 opinion bonus.

Yup, was capped before. Not sure if it was 15 or 25, but still capped.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't capped at 15 in patch 1.7, I can remember getting at least ~40 opinion bonus from subsidies alone.

There also isn't anything about this in any of the patch notes, I just checked 1.7 and 1.73.

Considering how many times I used subsidies in 1.7. to help diplo-vassalize I'm still pretty sure it was capped. In fact I just reverted back to 1.7.3 to try it out and opinion bonus didin't rise above 15.

Maybe it is moddable then? I was using it in the Veritas mod to diplovasalize myself.

It's alterable in 00_opinion_modifiers.txt like every other opinion modifier.
