not to mention that subs sometimes need days or weeks just closing on the damned convoys. Which is infuriating to watch.

This is awful. Start Sealion, 20 divisions land and clean up the UK in a month. 4 divisions still trying to land are being tailed by the unspotted subs right off the beach by the time the capitulation occurs, with no planes or surface fleets able to assist.
