I made a submod, mostly for myself, but wanted to share with others. it is for ATE:FF and won't(/shouldn't) work unless you're using that mod. You must play as Dennis of Philadelphia in order for any of the features to activate (i.e. in order to get the characters to be created).

My mod at this moment does a few things of note:

1) It adds Mac to the court of Philadelphia. Even gives him a sweet duster.

2) It adds in a couple other flavor characters from the cast of IASIP. The Waitress, Bill and Maureen, Liam and Ryan and Margaret, Father Matthew, and Country Mac.

3) It creates a religion called Mcpoylism that is incestuous. So now if you want to play ATE:FF but lamented the lack of brother on sister love (or brother on brother, or mother on son, or whatever your personal incest fetish is), now you can...as one of the McPoyles. They take over the Amish country (if you let them, otherwise they just show up in Dennis' court) and then you can switch to them (via console command) and conquer America one sister/daughter at a time.

It shouldn't interfere with anything, in fact, if you have the mod enabled and don't play as Dennis it should do literally nothing (besides add in an artifact and some custom nicknames that can only be accessed via console commanding them).

And I'm mentioning this one more time because it's important: This mod only does something if you play as Dennis at game start. So if you have the mod on and play as someone in Cali, it should do nothing.

I'm going to play with McPoylism a bit more to make it more unique (right now its basically Anabaptism but with incest) and then I'm going to expand the mod some more. Let me know if there are any problems, to my knowledge this mod is as conflict free as possible.

Perhaps instead of having the McPoyles just take over one of the Anabaptist realms they could launch an Adventurer's invasion?

I can make that an option. The problem with adventurer invasions is that either you're giving them doomstacks (in which case all you're doing is delaying the result I've already created by a few years) to assure victory or you run the risk of them losing. This way, the assumption is this is just post-invasion. I left the provinces with their original faiths, the barons as well (I did give Papi McPoyle a McPoyle courtier to place as court priest though, so he can start converting the province). Make the McPoyles still have to work for it the first several years (to say nothing of fending off assault from everyone else since they're a different faith). Lorewise, my head canon on that is the "conversion" is really the time it takes for them to breed enough McPoyles to overwhelm the other denizens of the province and I'm debating on adding descriptions to that effect in the near future so that its reflected in the game text (I vacillate between minimalism for this mod and making a bunch of independent submods vs. using this as a laboratory for my madness). As for why they took over Pennsylvania, well, its because it wouldn't make much sense for the McPoyles to pop up anywhere else.

I'm 100% open to making them adventurers though. The other thing I'm playing with right now is making a Lizard People off-map power (just something to get a China in-game while I wait for Brazil). I could easily modify that to be the McPoyles.
