any recomendations??? are we talking fiction, history, strategy???

I read nearly all books from Michael Dimercurio, which is fiction, when it comes to the weapons (plasma torpedo's, underwater missiles, things like that). But I also read a lot from Patrick Robinson, who is more on the realistic side, with real weapons, but still fictional in the story line (at least, I haven't heard about China losing the 10 Kilo submarines they ordered at Russia :p )

Good books, great writers. Really worth reading, and perhaps, a good source of information on how sub-sub combat would go, cause in nearly (if not all) books, at least one sub-to-sub combat event takes place.

The book is shit (no offence), with technical side it is obvious (wrong kind of missiles, wrong reactor/hull assumptions and so on).

Overall diezel subs would be quieter when going on electric power, but this is limited. Hence they are awesome brown water tool. Except 212 ofc, they do have better range and can be used in blue water environment.
