So I was playing Syncretic evolution and thinking about the the movie Time machine (2002) and humans had evolved into two separate sub races, one the intelligent ruling class and the other the strong servile workers/hunters.

Then I was trying to play Syncretic evolution run and xenophile was the biggest faction in my empire at all times even thou I was not xenophile (peace + Materialist + Authoritarian) and didn't have any migration treaties. But I guess the syncretic species counts as aliens for purposes of Xenophile ethic. my faction influence income was terrible because I wasn't playing Xenophile and they were never happy, the faction happies never got about 15%.

So I was thinking what if there was a version of Syncretic evolution which made the 2nd species a sub species of the main race rather than alien. Heck I'd settle for a mod which does this. I don't see why Syncretic evolution should lead to xenophilia, their not extra terrestrials their just another species part of your native ecosystem.

Yea I was thinking of using the Neo Dogs from Star Ship troopers book instead as my culture reference to explain my point but the Time Machine Movie depiction of Human subspecies while very different from book basically fit the analogy I wanted to make much better..

To actually help you out, make your Syncretics Repugnant. Repugnant Xenos make everyone else on the planet shift from Xenophile to Xenophobe, where they will probably be happier.

Repugnant Syncretics every time.

You're authoritarian yet you aren't enslaving your proles? Xenos only provide xenophilia attraction if they are free -- that is, not enslaved. Enslaving xenos results in a xenophobe attraction.

You can do this. Just have the Syncretic species use the exact same name and picture as the normal one.

Pros: You can genemod pops to and from prole status.

Cons: Still have to be full citizens I believe. Definitely can't enslave.

Wow this is indeed quite amazing. Does the pop growth tend towards 50:50 with sub-species serviles as well?

its would be nice if the pop growth would grow the worker species when you have a shortage of workers and the specialist species when you need those. I don't want to have to manually resettle mass waves of pops.

Less is quite right.

For my "What if Khan won the Eugenics Wars?" Empire, I have two subspecies of humans via syncretic evolution. The leadership caste are the Augments, and the "proles" are roleplayed as regular humans.
