What is the point of having sub commanders? Do they grant benefits to the units they're attached to? Its kinda annoying to have my king die because he was attached to a unit in someone's army.

Sub commanders are going to be fleshed out more in the upcoming naval warfare expansion.
I can confirm this happens.I always assumed that they take over if the main commander dies. But I'm not sure if this is actually the case.
I can confirm this happens.
Also, where are you guys getting the naval thing from, is this hopes and dreams or has there been any solid confirmation?
Rats. I was hoping nobody had still written that and, a couple of seconds after finishing reading the OP, to my dismay I saw this post.Sub commanders are going to be fleshed out more in the upcoming naval warfare expansion.
Satire is dead !
Read between the lines.
Satire? no, tone is dead. I can't read text in your internal voice. But this is the problem with text
communication, where jokes and humor can only be conveyed through punchlines and not tone.
(but I get you tho.)
