Once, in my very early WC attempts, i forgot to cancel mil access and declare war on a minor state in India. So i had -2 stab, couldnt cover stab by only 60 adm point i had also %160 OE. Plus I was fighting against Ming and her army was around 100k.

At that time, tons of rebels brook the state. Each rebel stack was around 30k. As i remember i had 200k rebels in total plus 100k Ming and I had almost 120k army.

Rebels invaded provinces that i was coring. My core creations were cancelled, because of lacking adm points, i couldnt recover.

Then i made a peace with ming by offering 2000 ducats. But Rebels were unstoppable.

Finally Mamluks, Persia, Timurids, Bahmanis, Iraq, Nogai etc became independent. And i shut down the game

In my Theodoro game I was planning on forming Germany after I got Gothic Invasion. This meant that I had to change my culture to Germanic. While I'm taking the last few Westphalian provinces to make it the dominant culture I decide that it is time to annex my large vassal Serbia who has large parts of Turkey, making Turkish the dominant culture. I'm a bit annoyed but okay, I can just make a client state in south eastern Turkey and get the overseas colonies coring cost reduction. Then a few years I decide that it is time to integrate Russia who colonized nearly all of Siberia, most of the spice islands and is starting in North America. I only notice my mistake once I get the message saying that the Russian culture was accepted. After I had to say good bye to that achievement. At least I managed to get Master of India before the end of that game.

Just yesterday I spent all my diplo points on a new tech about half a year before finishing a war. Needless to say I had far too few diplo points to actually get what I wanted from the war.

I don't know or don't remember how exactly I got to this point, but in a Sweden game I got to a point where I was constantly getting peasants rising up, killing enough of my army to force me to take 2 loans to get a small army of mercenaries, then right after I think it's okay to switch back to a normal army and destroy all my mercenaries, BOOM! another Peasant army! During this time, Peasants were also constantly occupying my land, and several times I had to give in to their demands. I was going down a rabbit hole of debt and large local autonomy, not a good combination to have.

Once, playing as Savoy, France was in war with Burgundy and I thought that was the right time to fight against the BBB.
Burgundy was slightly in the negative warscore, and sent me a call to arms, since we were allies. But I was greedy and didn't want the AI to decide if and what to give me in the peace deal, so I attacked France on my own. Then bloody Charles the Bold dies.

Lesson learnt: France in a war against Burgundy is not the right time to fight against the BBB.

In my very first playthrough (in 1.6 I think) I kept taking 100% warscore peace deals, regardless of OE. No wonder why rebels attacked every month. At least now I check for overextension before doing the peace deal

Yesterday in a Brandenburg>Prussia>Germany game I vassalized what remained of the Teutonic Order (then a 3PM), they formed Prussia and began to annex them. Looking at all of those cores in Poland decided to do a reconquest war against them with Austria as my Ally
They had a PU with Hungary (the one with Lithuania never formed), called Naples, Castille, Novgorod and the Pope to defend them. 50K vs 110K troops.
Even with my mil tech 12 vs theirs 10 I lost horribly: gave Danzig to Poland, returned two provinces to Denmark and Bohemia plus lots of cash. I was so pissed for not checking the ledger

First game as Austria, (1.11) I thought fully annexing Venice,Bavaria,Salzburg and all of western Hungary was a good tactical move.

All HRE+Poland+ Ottomans (declared war on them after I got Dalmatia from Venice......)

Thought Declaring war at hungary with France as my only ally to retake half the cores I lost would be a wise choice

I've taken Espionage ideas and Maritime ideas.
As Morocco.
And expanded mainly into inland Africa.

Oh, and not realizing I got claim on the Low Countries after forming Netherlands.
And because I didn't conquer them back then, Flanders later attacked me together with UK and France.
As a result, I had to release my CN(Australia) and continued playing as them for the last few years.

"Allright, I got a Spanish colonial empire, I massed an army of 140K troops in Spain. Let's declare war on France!"

First month: all right, crushed several 10kish-armies!
Then in the course of a few days:

• 50K French army appears
• 63K French army appears
• "Hmm, France allied with the Commonwealth"

End of the second month: my armies swept away, Madrid under siege, more than 130K French troops inside my borders, three Commonwealth armies (35K each) smashing through southern Italy.

Ended giving up Navarra, Rousillion and a mountain of gold.

Also a stupid mistake because I wasn't looking at the big picture.

• Playing as Spain.
• Most of Europa is protestant or reformed.
• Catholic countries remaining: Britain, Spain, Portugal, Commonwealth, a few smaller HRE-empire states (Treaty of Westfalen), USA and the Papal States (which I liberated from a reformed Tuscany)
• Allies: Portugal, Britain, Papal States. Commonwealth is allied with reformed France and Tuscany.

I got myself a good colonial empire, am colonising through Indonesia when I see that New Zealand hasn't been taken yet. I however fail to notice that Britain has a colonial nation in Australia. I take colonies in New Zealand and violate Treaty of Tordessillas.

• Relations with England and Papal States plummet.
• Papal States breaks the alliance with me (and gets annexed by Tuscany two months later).
• England forms an alliance with Commonwealth.

All I got left as allies is a weak Portugal whose colonies are revolting (and winning). Eventually France started crushing so Portugal to dust in another war so I had to DOW Portugal just to get my hands on their empire before France does. Now I'm alone...

Accidentally declared war while I had a truce. Was getting excited about expansion, had it all planned out... Missed the red penalties of -2 Stability and +5 War exhaustion... The only time it has happened, thankfully I had more than 0 stability so the stab hit was too bad and the war was against a tiny country so war exhaustion didn't suffer much and I recovered not too long after, but it was a stupid mistake to make :')

Playing as Sweden, was against Norway + Denmark. Sent some ships to blockade some northerly Norwegian provinces, thinking that them being slightly out of supply range wouldn't matter too much.

A few months later, having forgotten them, I get a message saying "Fleet lost!". Don't know whether it was simple attrition or if it was a Norwegian fleet getting lucky, but I basically lost half my fleet because I was forgetful.

Just getting a message saying fleet lost means attrition. Had it been a naval battle you would have got the battle screen.

Usually two things i do: DoW'ing enemy without checking mil tech and spending bird mana for tech/ideas and realizing in next month I'm going to end war.
