Stupid, stupid vassal creatures!

A note on AI : Consider a vassal who is heir to the Kingdom of Norway, and is granted some extra fiefs in order to make him even more certain to be King of Norway when the current incumbent finally keels over from leprosy, madness, or total lack of piety. (God's certainly taking his time about punishing this sinner). The vassal thereby gains prestige; so far, so good. He then turns around and uses the prestige to grab a title. Fair enough. Which title? Why, Count of Telemark, of course, which he will be inheriting in a couple of years.

Can we please have AIs which do not claim titles within the same kingdom, particularly if they stand to inherit the title anyway?

EDIT : Sorry, I just realised this should go in the 'request' thread, even if it 1.04 is now out. That's what comes of playing CK till well after midnight.

Let me see if I understand this...

You are upset that "God" hasn't killed off your leprosy-ridden King so that your hand-picked vassal will inherit.. yet you expect the hand-picked vassal to sit around and wait forever for the King to keel over instead of claming the title and taking it by force?

I think what he's asking is that the vassal's AI be a little more rational. Why would you go to war over a title that you are first in line to inherit?

What is strange about being impatient? Maybe not completely rational, but it makes the AI more "human".

Yes that's the question? Why rebelled Robert Courthose against Guillaume the Bastart to geht titels and Land he would get and even had already been partly granted to him. Why did Heinrich of Hohenstaufen, king of Germany, wage war on his liege, his farther, Friedrich II of Hohenstaufen, when he would get his titles anyway?

Well, I see the AI being "human" too many times. It all has to do with the inability of the AI to make solid future plans for itself; something which may or may not be improved by Paradox upon.
