You're one harsh colonial master! >.<They did think : liberty desire was only at 98%.
The good thing : after the peace treaty, I was able to increase tariffs even more due to the loss of liberty desire.
You're one harsh colonial master! >.<
True that. Now when all the colonial states declare war on him he will get owned

Unless one day, one of those colonies decide to enter into a treaty of "Support Independence" with several of your rivals, enemies, and influential nations in your vicinity and proceed to coalition bang you to the ground afterwards. But what can they do ? Even if they DoW together at the same time, they stand absolutely no chance. See how the forces are unbalanced.
There must be a reason why no colony managed in that game to achieve independence. The metropolis are too strong.
Unless one day, one of those colonies decide to enter into a treaty of "Support Independence" with several of your rivals, enemies, and influential nations in your vicinity and proceed to coalition bang you to the ground afterwards.
Can they initiate such a treaty ? Ask for help ? Or do they have to wait until one my enemies decides to support their independence ?
Anyway, has anybody seen independent colonies ?

yep have fun fighting your colonies plus major powers in Europe, colony with 60k + France 250k + random others vs my 100k, didn't end very well
How did your colony grow that much ? My New World might be a bit small, so colonies can hardly field more than 30K.
Also, the more you tax them, the less money they have, the less troops they can field... and the less dangerous they become. I noticed a real decrease of the size of my subject's armies. So if you decide to cross the 50% liberty desire step, do it outright and bleed them.
