After having played the beta in some multiplayer games, i cant help but notice that the Stugs AT ability is pure S..t, wvwn when hiding in the bocage the get one shot by shermans, they cant hit and when they hit their armor penetration is terrible, am i the only one thinking this?

The AA is hopelessly poor, 9 pieces of AA including an 88 couldnt bring down a single aallied plane, again wondering if im alone in experiencing this?

And finally the Typhoons or the rocket bearing allied planes are rubbish, theyre supposed to be tank killers but they do nothing.

I know this is only a beta but what are you guys experiencing in the game?

I'd like to see more crits from rocket planes than death. That way at least I can knock out a Panther or a Jumbo reliably without it actually dying and hurting all the realism fans feelings.

Need far more 'crew knocked out' or 'killed' or 'bailed out' and 'damaged tracks' from rocket planes and bombers. Right now it's pretty crap. Even 3 x P-47 doing a run on a Panther seems to be a total crap shoot.

As for AAA, I'm not really seeing a problem. Allies get shafted a bit since they don't get any 90mm guns, but enough 20mm and bofors can be good enough. Bofors could use with a price buff I think. I've had great success with a couple whirblewinds and an 88. 88 fires, the 20mm's fire up and when the planes hits like 3/5 morale damage, it pulls off. Two 88's insta-panics. So yeah, I think German AA is fine.

Yeah the stug is bad especially in luftlande hands. If you lose your 75mm PaK at the start you are in a tough situation, because they will be able to push past the middle, and to get them out you will have to do a combination of artillery and stugs to displace them. It is pointless to try to use more PaKs as an offensive tool because they will be nearly instantly suppressed and killed. Generally the Henschel will only be able to get 1 or 2 runs in before being stressed or killed, so it is not worth the 200 points.

Suppression happens on infantry so quickly from tanks that even if you manage to sneak around and try to shoot at a tank with a schrek squad, they will be pinned before even being able to get a shot off. So even on in bocage luftlande has a tough time against armor, only time where there is a chance of success is in a perfect ambush situation which does not happen too often.

I think that a solution to this would be to make it more difficult to suppress infantry and AT guns, perhaps taking a second or two longer.

Chalk it up to l2p, but I have lost 2 marders and 2 stugs to 2 shermans in a single engagement because they can't hit squat. Taking the panzer III command tank is almost necessary because otherwise your tank gunner will be drinking schnapps in the turret all day.

AA is more about making the enemy planes bug out. German AA does this just fine, almost instantly if you group up 37's with an 88, then your fighters can swoop in or just let the enemy planes run away. Allied AA does the same, although does not have that sweet sweet 88.

AA seems to me to be garbage. Yeah the 88s can turn a plane but I've been wiping them out with my 6 stack of spitfires and hardly lose a plane while they lose out on most of their AA. Its even better when they send a fighter out to help because then I bring that down too.
