Sales alone mean nothing. I´ve have both Company of Heroes and Sins of a Solar Empire. COH I´ve played countless times. SoaSE I´ve played four days, uninstalled and never looked back. Many people buy stuff due to hype, and then forget about it in less than a week.

Since there is no poll to reflect the degree of satisfaction of ALL people who bought HOI 3, AoD and DH, in the end, all there is is personal opinion.

OK since I'm a comedian at heart

Since only my personal opinion matters, I submit for all those lesser out there, that the truth to which is the best is which I like best, so there is no reason to continue discussing what is better, as which is best is already better than all that isn't better than it. The beauty of it is that the logic to assess the best is better than the best logic used against it, because it is better :D

If I am to buy the game, + add ons, I need a working suplay system.. The one that is in effect now it to bad.. The one that was in HOI2, I can understand.. I have no idea, what so ever, how it works here..

+ have been made some arguments about planes and UU, that are very good.

All in ALL. Good game, Great potential, not just finish jet.

Fix the flags. They are boring, out of proportion and have the wrong color scales. An interface trim would not hurt either. It's getting quite old and heavy now. Just look at the magic done with both the interface and the flags in DH's upcoming patch.

Finest Hour should probably fix:

1) the supply system so that is is more understandable for the human player
2) air combat (just get tired of "reserve" mission not working and my INTs chasing the enemy planes back to their own base and getting chewed up while on "intercept")
3) the threat and AI so that Japan actually goes after China and stops getting stuck between China and the USSR reshuffling its divisions endlessly

Since if you start in 1936 it's nice to set the speed at 4, but in that case you'll miss the exact moment a division got complete and you'll miss hours if not days of IC.

Or at least a way to order that queue by the ETA of completion, so that you can slow down when approaching the end of production of a unit. Actually you have to scroll frenetically the list.

Why would you miss hours if not days of IC ? You can "preorder" units and put them at the end of the queue so they will be next when one unit construction is finished. This is also realist because most construction were (had to be) planned in advance.

1. IC is calculated every day, not hour.
2. You can always fill the que in advance.

How about a few changes to make the system more user friendly:

1) allow us to unassign all leaders in naval units, land units, or air units seperately;

2) allow us to unassign leaders based upon the command chain, ie unassign every leader in this army group;

3) and for a real long shot of happening, a click and drag table for move leaders around.

I loath the amount of time it takes to switch leaders around for a nation like Russia or Japan. If you are going to expect us to micromanage to get the most out of the game, give us decent tools to do so.

What is it that you like about it? You're used to it as a DH player, but to me it looks like crap. Busy and uninformative. Not an imporvment on HOI3 at all.

i would like the diplomacey tweaked it shouldent say possible invite to your allance and promptley tell you impossible . its either possible or not lol
i think all the nerfing of minors should be rebalanced so they can make a worthwhile contribution , instead of just annex fodder they are now

It's just smoother and lighter than the HOI3 interface.

Nonetheless, I think we all can agree upon that at least the flags should be improved.

Maybe in the future Paradox will also build a terminator to come back in time and stop people from demanding intelligent AI, because with current technology creating a smart AI in this sort of game is imo, impossible with todays technology.

Can we get a division counter, brigade names per major, air and naval chain of command, a more intuitive oob organizer, ability to set training laws per unit, officer requirements for air and naval units?
