Hey all I am new to HOI2 and am stuck on the last part of the tutorial. I am in control of japan and it is asking me to launch a air assault on Taiwan with my transport plane and a paratrooper. I try to do this but my plane just seems to sit in my air field. Is there any way to get past this point?

I have done everything the other post said but I still have yet to see my plane leave base. I can get troops on ships for a assault but that always fails. Maybe it is just bugged that or I completely fail at this game.
After selecting air-borne assault, an interface appears which contains settings like time of attack and minimum organization & strength levels to start the mission. If your forces (armies, planes, ships) fall below those levels the mission will be discontinued.
Just decrease the minimum organization & strength level to something like 5 and should have you first air-borne assault.

The tutorial is broken if you play Doomsday or Armageddon. Just start a real game, the tutorials don't teach anything valuable anyway.

It would seem this part of the tutorial is actually excellent at showing the user that the game might, on occasion, not work in exactly the best of forms.
