Stuck in Sentinel Stand

I am stuck (in 2 different saved games) in Sentinel Stand. There is NPC battle going on and I can't climb down the slope during combat. Any ideas?

a better view (maybe). the battle in the upper right corner goes on forever - with no way to join it.

Can anyone help this player? He is stuck in the same spot in two different saves, and consequently feels the game is unplayable for him.

Have you tried e-mailing Obsidian directly? the devs has not been online for a time on this forum.

The support forums have been kind of quiet. I also have a game halting bug and really wanted help with it but I haven't gotten a response. I tweeted Paradox this morning in hopes of having someone sent our way.
