So I'm playing Korea, and I seem to be stuck at war with the Mongol Khanate. The only problem is that they don't exist anymore. They were eaten by the Oirats. If I try to sue for peace, it just takes me to the Oirat province where the Mongols used to be. This wouldn't be a problem normally, but I can't annex any of my vassals because they are apparently also counted as being at war with them, even though the information about them lists no such war. Is there any way to get rid of this war?

Normally after some years without battles you get automatically a white peace.

Not with hordes one doesn't. Try saving and reloading, perhaps.

Alternatively, as the Oirat Horde is, well, another horde, you may be stuck at war with the Oirat Horde and not the Mongol Khanate.

Nope, I've already peaced out with the Oirat Horde. I guess I'll just have to look for it in the save file.

it took me a while, but i found the solution to the problem. It is logic when you think about it.

Mongol hordes are nomads, hence they dont have cities. Therefore the land they occupy isnt colonised.

The way to get land from them is to capture the land with your army, then send colonists to 'civilise' it. Once you get 1000 colonists in that province, the province will defect to you.

If you manage to get all their provinces, they will disapear the war will end.
