So, I'm a pretty new player, and loving this game! I'm playing as the Ottomans right now and guess I expanded too quickly, because I got a military coalition against me, then a crusade in like 1453. Half my army is in North Africa, playing tag with Portugal, and the other half of my army is at home, stuck in Corfu. I mean literally stuck. Corfu (owned by venice, a member of the coalition) is occupied, but my army won't leave it. I now have small Castillian and Hungarian armies in my territory which I can't get to! Is this a normal bug, or am I missing something? The army is not in exile (black flag) or locked (no morale).

Corfu is an island connected (by those little red dash lines) to the mainland by a crossable water zone. If enemy ships are in that sea zone, your troops cannot cross.

Welcome to the forum!

In general, as you control the province, you're able to dock a transport fleet and then load the stack. Or, if you couldn't dock you could put the transports in the adjacent sea province then move your troops into the sea, which loads them onto the ship.

Quite likely though both of these options will be prevented by the enemy fleet blockading you, as Xara said. So you'll need to send sufficient ships to defeat that enemy fleet. And once you do that, you can just walk them off anyway.

Oh. That would be it, it is under blockade. That is a problem for me, as the venician navy is too strong for me to break right now. Maybe I can lure them away with a bait fleet.

Thanks for the assistance.
