Arcorelli told me about tonights gangbang, and I must say that I'm very dissapointed. From what I hear, France+Netherlands took 3 European provinces and a CoT from me. No restrain shown - and that's after 2 wars where France attacked the Habsburgs, and where the victorious Habsburgs could have destroyed France for good in both cases. But we showed restrain. And for what? To be utterly gangbanged and raped.

If that's how you wanna play, fine. Next time France screw up, it will be the last time they do anything...

Well, considering that due to a CRT difference you had given me by not paying attention to land and leadership definitely more formidable than anything habsburgs had (Turenne & Conde), France could have demanded much more.

But I showed restrain too, though I might have in absolute measure taken more than you did before, relatively your losses in Europe were not that much greater than France's earlier. I did not know the Hawai'ian province held a CoT, but Netherlands had taken Cuba and we could have pressed for that too, if we would have wanted to be greedy.

Besides, one-sided wars are not fun, so you should be happy that France has gained some more strength, so it can fight the habsburgs on it's own, without a need of grand european gangbang.

Newsflash: Regarding power relations, who DOWs and who receives the DOW is irrelevant. You were growing in power and taking provinces from whoever opposed you. And the rest of Europe concluded that you were too powerful.

Newsflash: It is not about 'bad guys', is about power and threats.

Case in point: You are threatening a major player in european politics with extinction (or to irrelevance, for a major player this is the same). And you want that the rest of Europe do not look on you as a dangerous power? This is the kind of declaration that get the Habsburgs in problems and in isolation and you are repeating it?

IMHO, the Habsburgs have simply not mastered the art of be powerful and not worry your neighbours.

So to you it doesn't matter at all who's the aggressor and who's the defender? That's plain stupid imo.

And yes, I am indeed threatening France. But why not? Even as a peaceful nation who is very lenient, I get gangbanged. So since I get gangbanged no matter what, even if France is the one who's constantly aggressive, I hardly think it can get any worse from that statement.

Well, Spain hardly got "gang-banged" really, as it was only subject to the attack of the French-Netherse-English alliance. Austria, being a known warmonger and oppressor of innocent minors, was hit more harshly from many sides. It just happened that Spain held those three provinces of most strategic and economic value to France of your alliance. You knew that you would be fighting France for them when you diplo-annexed Savoy and took Provence. It was not an issue about who was to give land, it was an issue about certain piece of land. Maybe if you would not so strongly support Austria, there would be no need at all to fight.

That hardly matters. I doubt even Damo himself could have fought off Poland, France England and Brandenburg at the same time, with at least Poland and France having a CRT advantage. Besides, Austria lost three provinces, of which two were recent captures. Hardly "taking advantage", if you ask me.

I am only worried about the power of the countries (and I fail to see whhould worry about other things). That a weaker party DOWs and lost a province do not make it a dangerous country.

Well, if you really believe that:
a) a gangbang is always in your future (since Russia warned against future gangbangs, England said that future gangbangs are not in our plans) and
b) a declaration such as 'Delenda est France' will not add to the probability of a gangbang

Then England believes that the king of Spain should look for a new diplomatic advisor

The decision to DOW (and all diplomatic negotiations) were made before we knew who was to play Austria. We were preparing to DOW last session -with you in Spain and Damo in Austria-. It was not a decision taken because some n00b was playing.

I send my 100k to Europe then, and I guess 100k english troops could had caused a lot of havoc in Spanish America (and certainly a lot of more that taking Koln and Alsace in Europe)

Certain players get a reputation for invicibility. They are NOT INVINCIBLE.

Remember, I held off Damocles Russia as a sub for Slargos' Poland with some subsidies once, so he can be defeated. Remember...the game where I.... uh...... kinda..... explored Siberia using mil-access then refused to leave his territory so I could keep exploring. Yeah..that game.
