Considering China's various disadvantages, it's better for all concerned that I have them instead of, say, Spain or England, which usually get them all before it's over. That's the issue here and you know it.

An Asian power is keeping two European countries from dominating the Asian theater. It's in the best interests of France, Austria, the Ottoman Empire, Russia, Brandenburg, Denmark, Sweden, Poland and even the Mughals that it stay that way.

Fair enough, and I think that a strong China has been an interesting addition to the game. But China currently holds several provinces (outside China proper BTW) that other countries are usually interested in. Conflict with China is to be expected.

It's not exactly gamey as it is merely unsporting, as China will have, unless Duke agrees to fix it, cumulative 45 RR for a while.

It all started because China threathened Mughals. OE would not accept crap like that. China sure can kick around Mughals alone, but next time OE wouldn't be held back.

OTOH, I firmly do believe China should be chewed up a bit. Just because it has overgrown shouldn't mean it should get some sort of immunity. Boohoo, bad events are coming, snif. Ottomans claim immunity on the same reason then!

HG should build a fleet and be prepared to defend the lands instead of claiming immunity, there are a few naval powers around who could beat China as they please. HG, believe me in that, I've done the "over-extended land-power" thingy in the past myself, and it doesn't feel nice when you realize it. Hopefully in SfS OE won't succumb to that.

At no time did I threaten the Mughals. Hive suggested Devil take them and fight me, to which I replied, much as you have, that the Mughals would lose to China, particularly in an offensive war.

As for immunity, please reread all my posts:

What I recall doing was making a diplomatic statement, to make it clear that any attack on China by a coalition of powers means I do my level best to form a coalition with the continentals (overtures to France, Austria, Poland and Russia in particular). It had nothing to do with my position in the game.

On overextended, I once played an Austria that included all of Germany, Hungary, Poland, Italy, the Balkans, the Rhineland, Holland, Songhai gold/COT, Ganges, Shanghai, Ghangzou and Zimbabwe and I was ganged by Sweden, Russia, the Ottoman Empire, France, England, Spain and Portugal three times-under Turenne, Marlborough/Charles XII and Napoleon/Wellington.

Been there and done it. It happens. China doesn't qualify and in the end, it's extremely harmful to certain countries in Europe to see certain other countries in Europe "chew it up" a bit.

And 45 RR with the simultaneous stabhits is infinitely worse than the Beys, which are a breeze.
