This was posted in the general discussion, but I thought it worht bringing in here for the patch.
In short the stress event for characters seems to be triggering far too often. It is by far the most common event I am getting over several different campaigns.
I agree these were stressful times, but this does appear to be overdone. It is especially hard to take when its an infant or a toddler getting it. The second problem is that it doesn't go away except very rarely. I think in all the hours I have played with the beta, I only got 1 event that removed the stressed trait at a 33% chance: the troup of jongleurs. If it needs to fire this often, then we need the remedies to pop up more often as well.
As a follow on, it seems like the stress invariably turns into depression. I took a brief tour through Europe last night and my impression was that at least half the continent was stressed or depressed. The actual mileage will probably vary for individuals, but perhaps it can be looked at to see if there is something wrong.
