What still really bothers me is the state of the Bug Report section. It is filled with tons of reports and next to none official comments. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect them to go into lengthy conversations or big statements. But what is needed is a short and informative statement concerning the report. It can even be a textblock for all that matters.
"Listed in Bug Tracker"
"Already fixed in Dev version"
Something like this would also help us as users so we know the problem is noted and they will be/have been working on it.
At the moment all we can do is post the same report again and again in every new version if the problem persists and can just hope someone will finally notice it.
What we also need is a publicly accessable (means read-only) Bug-Tracker so we can see if our problem is already listed and does not need to be post again.
Of course this would not prevent every case of double posting but it could potentially reduce it a lot.
I agree with everything you just posted.
Now they did try to help me out when I discovered a game breaking bug once so the bug fixing department is doing its job
Although, I have noticed that the number of bugs have gone up quite bit with each new update or DLC. I wonder if Paradox is falling prey to the age old warning of having too many great chefs with great ideas in the kitchen.
Paradox is trying to make a great game but is trying to put in too many great ideas. But don't get me wrong: I think Paradox is doing the best it can. I think they do need to just work on the bugs and maybe add in micro patches (patches that fix bugs a few at a time until the bug amount is at a tolerable and manageable level. But that's just me.
