I've been looking a bit at the Achievements and some of those demanding starting with a certain nation is somewhat inconsistent in their demands

a few examples

A Sun God, demands that you own 'all' of South America, but doesn't care about uncolonized provinces, or opponent colonies.
No Trail of Tears demands that you own all of Therteen colonies, with all of them being colonized by you.

Certain achievements demands that you doesn't change tag (Norwegian Wood, Holy Trinity and Re-reconquista being most promenent), while others couldn't care less (Sweden is not Overpowered, The Great Khan, Jihad)

at least for the second part of it, i suggest going through the list and where there is a tag requirement in the 'happened' change it to ROOT, so Norwegian Wood can be done even if you create Scandinavia on the way, and Holy Trinity can be made even if you create kingdom of God or Jerusalem etc.
