In relation to FPS tell me which games you play and which manuals of those games you have read, finally how many pages in the manuals and does it have pretty pictures? Once you reply I will consider your "opinion" and your counterpoints and perhaps mark you as a unique exception under my opioninated rule on this...one final note, I also play FPS, and about all there is in thier manuals is...a "brochure" with one page usually devoted to hot keys and a few "pretty pictures" to keep the attention of anyone who otherwise may have lost interest after turning the first page :rofl:

The point of my post wasn't to tell you to "shaddap" but rather make you realize that its not because someone plays an RTS/FPS that he is a 12 years retard, its a long living myth that people stick with one genre and dismiss all the rest. And EVEN if he was a 12 years retard who only plays RTS/FPS and just keep on cliking his mouse and shout "noob!!", you STILL must show him respect...I dont know where you hail from (I see the turkish flag but I'm bearing an algerian flag when I'm not one soo) but I come from a country where we respect people on the basis of what they are, not how different they are.
Maybe you know the saying: "if you dont show respect, then dont expect any"
I'm also sick of all those derogatory comments and remarks I keep reading on most strategy/wargames related forums, I also go to FPS/RTS forums and I never ever saw people there qualifying TBS/Wargames/RPG games as "stupid" or "clickrest" (no spelling error). It seems its part because the more "elaborate" gamers (not that I think that they are anything more elaborate than the average gamer), playing games with some historical background and -more often than not- intricate mechanisms end up thinking of themselves as the "elite" or the "cream" of the gaming community and start showing disdain and contempt toward the rest, and part because the so called RTS/FPS are usually more popular with a younger audience, leading the "strategists" to dismiss
all of them as kiddies...
Judging a person on what she plays is just...too stupid for the lack of a better term. Judging something you dont even know -cuz its obvious that you dont- is even more stupider, just makes you look like an ignoramus when I'm sure you are not.
If you think that only kids and idiots play RTS/FPS then well, I have news for you, I work as a soldier in an armor regiment (sorry cant name it online), I'm married with a 2 years son, and I while I play Warcraft III and Battlefield 1942 when I get the time (not so often alas), I also play or played a lot of games you would call strategy hardcore (ever played Uncommon Valor ?) and I'm also almost done with Korsun Pocket: Across the Dniepr..
Talking about the games I play here is a sample:
1) Combat Mission: Afrika Korps.
2) Battlefield 1942.
3) Victoria
4) TOAOW 1 & 2
5) Eu2
6) Civ3 + Conquest
7) Warcraft III
8) Korsun Pocket ATD
9) Uncommon Valor-Pacific
10) Medieval Total War.
Also that "you didnt preview your post" and the " How full of pretty pictures are your manuals" arguments are completely uncalled for, usually people resort to this kind of sentences when they have nothing to say...character attacks are just that, they dont prove a point or replace a good argument, actually its the kind of answer I would have expected from a "RTS/FPS 12 years kiddie-fan on unreal.com" not a "TBS cream of the gamers adult on paradoxplaza", beside that your posts are not what I would call a good example of "previewing"
